Day 8…. The New York setting was a nice change of scenery. It was cool seeing Jack have one more battle with Charles Logan. And, some of the individual episodes were exciting. But…. The new characters just come across as pale imitations of previous, for more engaging characters like Chase Edmunds and Nina Myers. Cole Ortiz was meh. Dana Walsh, well what needs to be said, it was a waste. Why didn’t she kill that loser the second she opened the door?
There were some good things in the season, like the NY setting, and the completely different angle of the threat being mainly against a visiting dignitary. But overall, I agree that most of the new CTU characters were uninteresting, and I didn't like the way they looked down on Chloe. I have always considered this my least favorite season other than the later spinoff. I hardly ever re-watch this one.

My favorite scene in 24 was this season when Jack abducted Logan from the Limo!

This was the worst season. The whole Alan Wilson story was wasted after 4 plus seasons of build up.
