First Shark Caught in a kayak in Lake Macquarie

- Hi, This video you will see me catching the first shark caught in a kayak in Lake Macquarie. It was only a Juvenile but still a shark in a kayak. It was a dream of mine when i first started kayak fishing. I had issues with my Go-pro the whole time so apologies for its cutting out.
Thank you to the Anthony and Terry at MBT Morisset Bait and Tackle for their advice as well as hooking me up with the right gear.

Where in the lake is your target area for sharks ?
Myuna Bay is the Most Common spot. But Pulbah always has a hammerhead lurking around.
Yep. Thought that could be the place. I’ve seen a lot around there. Pulbah seams to be hammers chilling in the top water.

Yes Technically but I did grab the leader which yiu didn't see. In game fishing that is classified as a catch.
But I'm hoping to get out there again and praying the gopro gods don't curse me again.
@@mightykayakgeek4299 well done. I fish in a Hobie compass as well and I can tell you I wouldn't have got it anywhere near my yak 😂😂 I would have cut the line

My videos are not intended for kids. I am Australian and most of us swear and say alot worse then me.
