Tiago is not for daily use, in Mumbai, people use the car for going to offices alone which acquire space, and you can easily stuck in traffic, but this car would be helpful for such a situation.
They could have given a large Bonet in which most of the area could have been empty to put your luggage. It must look really cool and people would have definately consider it as a better option 😅😅
Giving large bonet will demolish their motive to sell this car as a "Compact City car" for crowded areas like Mumbai. As we know, such cars are successful in foreign and all things arrive late in India which are mostly copied... And can also be successful here.

So, for most of the people, this car must be their first and only car especially at this price point. And the looks of the car do matter to people buying a car for their primary purposes and for which they want a car which will have a good road presence. And for that reason, Tata tiago would be a much better choice for them at this price range because first of all it offers fast charging, which can charge your car up to 80% in 50 min, secondly, it offers a good road presence and a much better range. One more thing, This car is exactly a copy of one of their own cars in China and is being imported in India and being rebranded with the name MG comet. I personally feel when we have much better choices than this, in the automobile market, then why to increase our dependency on China.

Length of Alto / Tiago is much more than MG Comet which is under 3000mm. It's not meant to be your primary car. It's basically your secondary car for city commutes and grocery shopping or crowded markets. You can go anywhere with his and park anywhere as well. The target consumer is different here.
5-6.8 lakh / 7-8.5lakh on road at max would have been the best price as it is very small compared to its competitors at the same price and not practical at all , it's just enough for daily commute nothing more.
