The One is my favorite American Jet Li film!
Saw Equilibrium in the theater. Amazing.
I choose Both.
One is Escapism entertainment & the Other Became a documentary of its time (also entertaining too led by christian bale).
i luv both movies i can't even chose 1
Both of these are great action films in their own way. I'd probably tie them both together.
The One was Multiverse before Multiverse became a ridiculous stupid Hollywood Fad.
I think equilibrium is one of the most underrated films of all time… I love that movie

I Love Kurt Wimmer he’s very Talented & Underrated Writer & Director IMO, he’s 1 of my Favorite Writers, I Love 1 Man’s Justice, Equilibrium, The Recruit, Street Kings, Law Abiding Citizen, Salt, Total Recall Remake, Expendables 4, & The Beekeeper are my Favorites & His Bests IMO, I Like Sphere & Point Break Remake Ok but that’s my Least Favorite Of his, I Didn’t Like Thomas Crown Affair Remake, Ultraviolet, & Spell are his Bad Movies IMO. Haven’t seen The Misfits & Children Of The Corn 2023 Though
I Hope you & your Family are Ok & Staying Safe through the Chaotic Weather in South Texas Matt, Personally I Love Both Equilibrium & The One there Both Very Underrated Films Influenced By The Matrix, I Love The One it has Great Action, Well Written & Directed, Jet Li, Delroy Lindo, & Carla Gugino did a Solid Job, But My Issues are Jason Statham was Fine, But I thought he was Severely Under Utilized Cause I Love Jason Statham, very Charismatic & Talented, & 1 Of my Favorite Action Stars & Actors, & I thought Equilibrium had More Of a Story & I Liked & thought Christian Bale Gave a Better Acting then Jet Li IMO, I’ve Always Loved Equilibrium, Great Action, a Well Written & Directed, Solid Cast & Villains were Lot Better then the Villains In The One, Christian Bale, Taye Diggs, Angus McFadyen, William Fichtner, Emily Watson, & Sean Bean Did a Great Job, But I Still Love Both Films though, there 2 of my Favorite Sci Fi Films, & Even Though I Love The 1st Matrix it’s 1 of my Favorite Keanu Reeves, & Matrix 2 & 4 are Ok but there Least Favorites In the franchise IMO, & I didn’t like Matrix 3 is Bad Movie IMO, I Still Prefer Equilibrium & The One Over The 1st Matrix Cause I thought there Films I Revisit More Often, Plus Equilibrium’s Story was Lot More Intriguing IMO Compared to The Matrix 1, But I Still Love The 1st Matrix Though ❤

I feel Jet Li got better with his acting in ''Unleased'' aka''Danny The Dog'' from 2005 yes ''Equilibrium'' is my favorite Christian Bale film and role plus I always the score for the film done by Klaus Badelt too. I also loved the ''Gun Kata'' fight scenes in the film I feel it really makes the film stand out IMHO. I enjoy both films but like you I have to give the win to ''Equilibrium'' since that film is more underrated and overlooked and had a better story as well. Another awesome job on another ''Vs'' topic bro👍👍

@@BRIANOCONNOR2003 I like that film dough I still prefer''Kiss of The Dragon'',''Fist of Legend''&''Unleashed'' aka''Danny The Dog'' over it but I can still watch it as a time waster.
Not a popular opinion but I actually like The One more. Gun Kata to me is just as silly as the bullet curving in Wanted. In both movies the action scenes are supposed to be "bad*ss" but I cannot take them seriously even as a fan of over-the-top, gonzo action. Also I don't think it's always bad for a movie to be dated. The Terminator is definitely a product of the 80s with its synth score and 80s fashion. Yet it's considered timeless classic
