Only Sankhya and Vaisheshika illustrate the uniqueness of living beings. There is no consciousness without body and mind.
True, however the same is in the Vedas. All the six darshanas are relevant through out our studies
As long as you are identified with body mind complex you are mired in this ignorant idea
Our eyes alone are sufficient to see the uniqueness of living things. A darshana isn't needed to conclude this basic observation
