Ok I appreciate the review and congrats on your Type R…. However I need to say I hope you didn’t pay much over MSRP for a Honda Civic (Type R or not). $45k plus you can get a much better car, or a decent down payment on an entry level Porsche pre-owned. You do realize you pissed away anything over MSRP ($7k? $12k? Shit dude…) So how much did you put down? How much is your car note? Do you own or rent your home? Do you have responsibilities like a family? Kids in private school, and or a mortgage? What do you do for a living? How’s your income to debt ratio? I take it you live in California. I ask because I see many young guys (RUclipsrs) posting reviews of Type R’s yet I see them living in a town home or apartments with young children. Yes it’s fun to drive a Type R but really responsibilities should take priority over your superficial needs. I’m mean it’s your money, do as you please but living on maxed out credit and owning/financing a vehicle that takes up more than 50% of your net income is not a wise decision.

No, the world 'you live in', not car savy people. Let's say you paid $55K for it or $10K mark up. You wouldn't say. For $50K average Joe can buy a new IS350 with NA V6 and about the same HP...but a V6 and not a turbo 4. A 'Lexus' versus a Civic. You bought it and paid the mark up. You obviously wanted it bad. I would much rather have a Lexus than a Civic. I don't care that you can beat a IS350 in that thing around Riverside by a second. Lexus has more comfort, more sound damping and engine is under less stress. A V6 Lexus will 200K miles without breaking a sweat.

@@BuyYourBuild I love my B9. I've had plenty of Hondas over the years but current pricing just makes no sense to me. If I had a RUclips channel that I could make money from content about the car then that might be a different story.
@@bguerrero0410 loved my b9 s4 as well. Audi/Porsche are my favorite german brand by far
People that are paying 10k-20k mark up for a civic, than drops in price once it leaves the lot are idiots. They look cool for a couple weeks.
You gonna do any mods or anything?
The time will come!
How much out the door bro . 70k ?
Youre about $15k off
No, the world 'you live in', not car savy people.
A car savvy person would also know your brand new $50k IS350 will be worth significantly less than my $50k Type R in 3, 5 and 10 years from now ;)
@@BuyYourBuild people will hate like crazy lmfao. Probably owns a 1000$ Corolla is sad he can’t get a Lexus.
@@SektorMK22 that’s usually the case when it comes to the “id rather buy car XYZ for the same price”
@@BuyYourBuild people won’t stop with I would’ve bought/done this over this over this. But at the end of the day it’s your money and we all have different taste. I love the car btw!
