@Kansas, I was thinking same but remember the entire spiritual atmosphere of America was different then...more God-honoring instead of openly God MOCKING like now. A complacent & lukewarm church said nothing when SCOTUS did gay marriage, when that happened (silence generally from USA pulpits) I knew we were in huge trouble.

One of the greatest and touching song that he left that has really been a blessing to me , is Hunger for Holiness. Man I've been listening to Carman's music pretty much all my life. I'm 40 years old now. My dad was given a cassette, Carman Sunday's on the Way and played it for us. I took an instant love to it. I played it day after day week after week month after month. Sure I had other music I listened to, including DC Talk McGee and Me, etc(I must have been in the single digits). Sundays on the way literally came out on the year of my birth 1983. The tape disappeared one day. No idea what happened to it for years and my begged my parents to get me a new one and they got me Radically Saved. I was initially disappointed as it was so different from Sundays on the Way, but I soon found that I loved it. I then get Carman Ministries Presents Commissioned & the Christ Church Choir and eventually I rediscovered my Sundays on the way tape and I still own it to this day.
I've heard this song before, but I think I was too young at the time to appreciate it as I really dug the faster songs, heard this one today for the first time in decades and dang, just like most of his music it is a truly stellar song.
I was so depressed when I heard that Carman died. It was an absolute shock to my system. I googled to see what Carman was up to there it was an article saying that he died. I swear my heart skipped a beat. Having listened to this man's music since I was a child it just absolutely devastated me. Never have I had that sensation over anyone dying before outside of close friends and family.

Thank you God that Carmon gave his life on earth to witness to us and comfort us with his music and gives us a way to worship throught the Holy Soirit through song another way to pray and praise the One God the great I Am. I miss you already Carman! God comfort your family and friends we are praying.
Carman was a very special person who loved and cared for the yong people who were being draw away from Jesus by what satan had to offer in this world. He work hard and was very strong in he faith The younger generation seen that in his songs and the videos that he showed. You could tell God was using him to break down the walls that was keeping the kids captive because he was letting God use him to break satan strongholds and he was tearing down those altars that used for sacrificing babies and young people for worship to false gods like baal. He will be missed. I hope and pray that there will be many like him that will stand up and be strong in their faith and have the courage to also lead Gods children out of the Dominic ream which is leading or son and daughters down the path way to Hell. That would a wonder victory in the name of Jesus Christ to be done. God bless

I got to hear him live in the fall of 1996 in Atlanta in Georgia Dome with his R.I.O.T. program. That was an amazing concert. His album THE STANDARD was my favorite album in 1993, and I still listen to it many years later.

Beautiful GODLY Man 👨 of God. So Proud of him that represent Our Father's Kingdom. This Touches My Soul; I loss my earthy father this year 01/05/21.. He used to sing this song sincerly for the Lord. The enemy drove and wrecked our close daughter and Dad also Spiritual relationship apart though I always prayed for my Dad to come Back to that Place I Once knew he was in the Lord.

You have to understand a kid who grew up in the United Pentecostal Church and then my parents divorced when I was 16. All I knew where holiness standards on the outside...long hair, skirts, etc. this song changed me. He wasn't so holiness within...that shines more for him than that outside.
