Good on you for using a fly rod and putting the hrs and miles in, do not be put off by the edited experienced angler vids on here I am 57 fished a long time and the rivers sadly are 20% what they were 20 yrs ago the grayling only live well in good quality water. my tip stick with it and take litter home I do.
@scottthefunkRedPill thank you! I'll definitely keep at it! The last two sessions have been tough. This river has so much litter everywhere but I'll try to remember to take a carrier bag from now on. I suppose a little bit everytime makes a difference. Yes a few people have said that the rivers have declined in the last 20 years. Such a shame. Have you tried the river minnow it's a good river for grayling fishing. Bought some new fishing gear
