Takes me back to when my brother and I played the SEGA version. We'd always argue over who would get to play as which ranger and zord. I miss those days...
Movie version Ahhhhh!! After two thousand years of searching, we have finally within my grasp! And now, let's crack this egg! *buzzing and opening up the egg by cracking using a Z staff*
They've got the same powers you've seen 27 times before! They've got lots of remakes that complicate the lore! No one can ever take them down! Plot armor lies on their side! Go, go, Power Rangers! Go, go Power Rangers! Go, go Power Rangers! Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! They know that all of us still love this goddamn show! They know they ran out of ideas 15 years ago! No one can ever take them down! Nostalgia's still on their side! Go, go, Power Rangers! Go, go, Power Rangers! Go, go, Power Rangers! You Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!
Personally, I thought the game gear game lacked color. You'd think with the Game Gear's large color pallete, there would be more color. The also made the red ranger look pink, which just looks strange. The gameplay looks decent at least though.
MMPR The Movie game was better on the Mega Drive/Genesis than the SNES version. The original MMPR game was better on the SNES. Did the movie game get better developers, or something?
The Super Nintendo game was based on season 2 and they just threw in Ivan Ooze from the movie. All of the monsters were from season 2, as was the morph sequence used in the game. It was the tank top version.
@@mrroboto5785 and rather than being a Final Fight clone, the SNES version played out like Top Hunter: Roddy and Cathy on the Neo-Geo since you could hop from foreground to background.
I don't know about the power. The Genesis only had a better processor. All the other specifications surpassed the Genesis. The Sony SPC700 chip was more versatile as it was able to output sample and generated sound rather than the Genesis' Yamaha YM2612 and the Texas Instruments SN76489. I did prefer the Genesis (Mega Drive in my region) as it was the machine I grew up on. I also preferred a lot of titles on the Genesis, too! :D
Not to mention that the Genesis could do actual 3D as opposed to the SNES which needed the help of an FX chip for 3D. A good example of this is F22 Interceptor for Genesis.
The Genesis, or Megadrive as I know it, could do rock music better than the SNES. The SNES was technically better in a lot of ways, but the Megadrive’s sound chip could give sounds the SNES’s chip couldn’t.

Same developers, but they decided to go to the beat 'em up route.

If they used the loud drums at the beginning...
AUGHHH IT'D HAVE BEEN PERFECT
Actually, IMHO, I'd say the best version of the original game was the Game Gear version.
Lets rock baby!! 🎸
Alpha! Bad shit’s goin’ down! We need some Power Rangers or something...

Fuck vocals! Guitar still blows the SNES version away.
I wish the SNES Power Rangers had renditions of these theme songs and insert songs (but I do love the City theme in MMPR SNES).
