I wanna recommend you guys THE UNTAMED.This drama is upto ep 50. This drama is so good. Even if this drama is about boy love their is no kiss scenes or something. In my opinion this is more like a friendship related drama. There were so many sad scenes guys i cried in every sad scenes lol. The story of this drama was also so good. I guess i watch this drama like more than three times lol. This drama is my all time fav. If u guys wanna ask something about this drama u can ask me in the comment......

I literally ignored the untamed for like months, but then I gave it a try but at first I didn't understand anything so l stopped watching it,but after a few months I randomly decided to watch few episodes... After that I got addicted😵😵😵 guys it's really worth watching it has literally the greatest plot I've ever seen😣😣😣The untamed is highly recommended for anyone who is interested in great plot, mystery and friendship. The casting is literally one of the best casting I've ever seen. Ngl after watching some episode you'll get addicted. Trust me I've watched most of the dramas of 2019 and 2020 but the untamed is still my favorite. I'm literally watching it for the fifth time it's crazy good 😣😣😣if you guys haven't watched It then you should give it a try.... At first you might not understand it but after each episode you eventually get the idea of what's happening 😊😊😊

The romance of a tiger and rose is definitely my favorite. It offers an interesting perspective of our current society by a feminist screenwriter and shows us the true importance of writing a story with depth of the matter at hand not forgetting to be comical and romantic. I advise you to give it a try as well as this list it's well put.

The Story of Minglan is definitely one of the best and underrated. The lead characters have great chemistry as they are a real life married couple. It’s story is complex, intriguing, heart wrenching, and has plenty on tension. You will not be disappointed!

Just finished The Romance of Tiger and Rose! It's so good! I much prefer the "less episodes/better quality" dramas over 50+ episode marathoners! I'm glad to see that the newer dramas are going more in that direction.
Dilraba is my fav actress! She is a natural beauty with no surgery and is very good actress. She is the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen (no joke or exaggeration). I saw her true personality in Keep Running S5, just love her

There is no C drama as great as ten miles of peach blossoms ❤ the drama , the heartbreaking storyline, powerful characters and amazing music, its the most heartbreaking drama yet so beautiful. Ashes of love is my second best drama. Another note worthy drama is destiny of the white snake ( i was so in love with it)

Some lesser-known dramas:
Ancient Detective definitely deserves to be on this list. The ending is really amazing and IMO makes it one of the best dramas of 2020. Needs a second season.
Fake Princess is very fun and entertaining to watch. I'm usually not a fan of most comedy dramas because I don't find them that funny, but this one is an exception. Eleanor Lee is like a less annoying version of Zhao Lusi or Seven Tan but equally adorable.
I don't think Royal Highness is from 2020 but I watched it this year and it was surprisingly good. Reminds me of Joy of Life in some ways.
Love in Between and Love a Lifetime are pretty good so far. The former started off amazing but started to decline a bit, and the latter started off really slow but got a lot better. They're still broadcasting so we'll see if the endings are satisfactory.

The only Chinese dramas i watched are Joy of Life and Nirvana in Fire. I really liked them. But I am surprised to find they are not even in this list of 12 best Chinese Historical/Ancient Dramas. Is this list of 12 dramas only containing dramas that were released on 2020?
I have watched Nirvana in Fire, it's super. Almost none romance yet great plot/music/ actors. Perhaps it's considered old, already few years back. I think the Untamed is comparable, you should watch if haven't..Super touching.

I love Asian dramas, but historical Chinese dramas uffff they hit different..... I need a group of friend who also like thoses, my drama friends its head over heels with korean dramas, me too but as I said I love the historical Chinese ones
