I was in Vegas that weekend & saw the Tony Bennett/Count Basie show in full!! Even better than it sounds!!!!!!
That fleeting period when such top performers were all together at the same time.
This needs more likes...
Es muy tierno y hermosa melodía,love it❤
What a combination! BENNETT & BASIE. Without YT, forever out of sight, mind & ears. WHOW
Magical times in showbusiness. Thanks for this.
Basie Swings and Tony Sings. They can finally swing again back in heaven. RIP
Realty: Doesn't go that way ! Short visit here for a YT memory lane show. Then gone.
God, I love these gentlemen. They had such talent, class, and style. May they rest in peace. ❤
Tony is #1
He was, is, and will be forevermore. I was very fortunate to see Mr. Bennett twice -- in 2002 and again in 2017. I could have seen him 1,000 times and it would never have been enough. While I know it will sound hyperbolic, the news of his passing really had me down for a few days. Though I never had the privilege of meeting him, I felt like I lost a family member. I'm sure millions of people felt that way. I wish I could have thanked him in person, but I know he'd heard it all -- millions of times -- for seven decades. What an absolute legend.
I miss Jerry Lewis. And I miss Tony Bennett,
Another world of entertainment that would disappear forever except on YT
OMG... never saw this. I was lucky to hear both of them live - separately - and met both and spoke with them. Not name dropping, not much. But just sayin' I've been very lucky.
He is 96 years old - B R A V I S S I M O ! (HU)
