Re the conduits and heat. If you put a copper coil around the chimney for water to circulate then you would recover heat from the chimney. You could use that with a small 12v pump to move warm water to the other containers. Look up Red Dot 12 volt Auxiliary Cabin Heater.

Great work! So happy to see our rot protectors are helping your posts last.
When you mentioned not being sure if you applied them correctly - It looks like you did, but next time we'd suggest using a blowtorch with a broader flame to ensure a better application and seal to the wood's surface.
Hope this is helpful, any questions just feel free to ask and we'll be more than happy to help!

Just a tip, you should use diagonally opposite pos and negative terminals for the main battery wires to the system. This is so that when you are using multiple batteries in parallel, you will have more equal usage of the 4 individual batteries and more equal wear of the batteries.
Ideally, two sets of 2x 48V 50Ah in parallel, and then run the cables of the two sets together to the busbar where they meet and then these wires to the system main cables. Just make sure the cable length in each set of two is equal. Similarly connect these two sets together at the busbar where the system's main cables are, cable length should also be the same.

You can pat yourselves on the back for a job well done. You always seem to do some things a little unconventionally... but in a way that works better for you... and that out-of-the-box thinking is nice to see. Thank you for summarizing this project and sharing it with us. I guess I came to your channel a little late... so I missed some of the early stages of your container build. I'll have to go back and check those out.

Trying to figure out how you are living there with the shower and bath being outside in this cold weather. Are you leaving to take a shower at your parents house every day? How is it working having the bathroom so far away?

    • @WildWeRoam

@@WildWeRoamThat makes sense. I kept thinking I know people are into these cold plunges now a days but that would be taking it a bit too far...lol.😂
