Fun fact: America after ww2 made up more than half of the world manufacturing capacity and GDP, 75% of world monetary gold reserves and 70% of the entire world naval ships, and provided almost 2/3 of the Allies equipments. world war two was the only time in history that we really got to see what happens when the unites states fully mobilizes every facet of its power. we turned from being neutral in the conflict with a relatively small military of only a couple hundred thousand, to well over ten million by the end of the war. more impressive is the full mobilization of our manufacturing, the willow run plant alone was making a b-24 every 63 minutes at its peak. I cannot even begin to comprehend what an equivalent mobilization of the US today would look like.

The reason why America "remained neutral" due to the fact they couldn't engineer consent. The American public refused to slaughter their relatives in Germany. Ww2 was the war of resistance, not Vietnam. This was the analysis of PNAC, Project for a New American Century, stated plainly.
The United States has never been isolationist. The Monroe doctrine and manifest destiny refute those claims. American isolation was "avoid European involvement" which was forsaken in 1812 and a myth after the 1870s.
The American Peace Mobilization was hawkish in June 1941. Those who controlled the levers of power and the media wanted war. The American people were dragged to slaughter in another racket.

Yes. Americans "fell for it." The greatest generation didn't want intergration, civil rights,, LGBT, women's liberation, uncontrolled southern immigration, multikulti liberalism or NAFTA, yet they fought for them and now enjoy them. This is a good thing because it disproves the concept of secular government such as republics and democracies. The aristocrats, the peasants, the clergy? Who are these people? Who wrote these man made constitutions? This is a series of revisionist history.
      1. The South lost the civil war because wall street supported the Yankees cause of fighting for the destruction of states rights, taxation without representation, violation of private property laws and the right to life, liberty and property, a tyrannical president elected without a single southern vote, the Russian Tsar's fleet and the lack of European support.
      2. Slavery did not "hold back the south." If fact, the agrarian beliefs of the southerns prevented the hyper materialist individualism of the yankees manifesting in the south. Technological advances elongated the existence of chattle slavery. It was the most effective form of labor at the time and of the price point. Slaves were more expensive than free men laborers and their masters fed them superior food and Healthcare than free men could afford for themselves
      3. The assumption that "industrialization is progress" is refuted by tbe very fact that Yankees are no longer an industrial might.
      4. Southern culture is superior in all regards to Yankee "culture." Its called southern hospitality not northern hospitality.
      5. Yankee culture is "abortion, intergration, slavery te the federal government's edicts, NGOs and dying in foriegn wars." If Yankee culture was so successful, why is it being replaced with the machismo of Chicanos? Southern prefer to live off the land and practice minimalism instead of the Yankee practice of endless debt spending

🤔Its easy to forget how powerful the usa really is these days, they truly are the only superpower on earth, i know some will say its china because its the second largest economy but that has nothing on the USA's continual 134 years of having the largest economy and more military bases around the world than any other nation in history also having the most gold reserves, outspends the next 8 nations combined on "defense" and is owner of the worlds reserve currency literally no other nation has had this much power not even Rome... it will be interesting to see what they go through next 😅😅

Headline: "Kimmel and Short will Stand Trial; Date is Undecided - 5 "
"By 1944, the Allies were clearly winning, and national security would no longer wash as a barrier to trials.
A congressional act mandated the court-martials.
At last, the former Hawaiian commanders would have their day in court.
"In August [1944], the Naval Court of Inquiry opened.
A source inside the Navy Department had already tipped Kimmel and his attorneys about the scores of Magic intercepts kept from the admiral in 1941.
One of the attorneys, a former Navy captain, managed to get at the Department's files, and authenticated the existence of many.
Obtaining their release was another matter.
Obstruction after obstruction appeared - until Kimmel tried a ploy.
Walking out of the courtroom, he bellowed to his lawyer that they would have to tell the press that important evidence was being withheld.
"By the next day, the requested intercepts had been delivered - 43 in all.
The admirals on the Court listened to them being read with looks of horror and disbelief.
Two of the admirals flung their pencils down.
More than 2,000 died at Pearl Harbor because those messages had been withheld.
Navy Department officers gave additional testimony.
After nearly three months, the inquiry finished.
The verdict of the Roberts Commission was overturned.
Admiral Kimmel was exonerated on all charges.
Admiral Stark - who had rejected pleas of juniors to notify Hawaii on the morning of the attack - was severely censured.
"News of the intercepts leaked to the Army Pearl Harbor Board, convening at the same time.
The Board secured copies of Magic from War Department files.
The Board's conclusions still expressed modest criticism of General Short, but found overwhelming guilt in General Marshall and his Chief of War Plans, General Gerow.
Its report ended with this statement:
"Up to the morning of December 7, 1941, everything that the Japanese were planning to do was known to the United States except [Tokyo's final diplomatic message] the very hour and minute when bombs were falling on Pearl Harbor." "
