I am tempted to get a CSM every time I see a video like yours. I will likely live vicariously off watching your videos about setting it up. But I am tempted to get one.
Welcome to the rabbit hole 😁 A 3D printed CSM is a gateway drug. In a year or two you will start hunting for at antique one or buy a new produced one in a fancy color 😍 I also started out with a 3D printed one and now I have a two antique ones too. Happy knitting and remember, you can do so much more than socks!
That machine looks sooooo good! I love knitting socks but this will be on my wishlist for when my hands give in to too much pain. I can't wait to see how your socks turn out. Love love love that colour way of yarn 🖤🖤🖤
Ok so I don’t have a machine but I want one. Also I don’t make socks yet. I’m to the point where you’ve opened the box in the video and ❤️❤️❤️your hair ❤️❤️❤️ is why I’m watching the video!!!! The machine and socks are the reason I came your hair is why I stayed!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Kayla, I'm determined to improving and expanding my knitting skills this year. So, I have started my first sock of my second pair of socks ever - I'm not counting the practice sock that I was working on last week just to get re-acclimated to fingering weight yarn and US 1/2.25mm knitting needles again (I frogged it prior to starting my actual sock, lol!). I know knitting by hand will take me awhile but, I love it. I also love watching your knitting machine adventures and can't wait to see your projects! Oh! I'm so glad you went with the permanent markers and not the nail polish. I spilled some clear polish on a giant souvenir plastic comb years ago (when I was a teenager) and I was heart broken because the polish actually desolved the plastic! The markers are way less likely to melt any parts 🤞. Anyway, l'm looking forward to tuning into the rest of your "adventures in sock knitting" series. As usual, you rock, Kayla! 🤘 🖤✌️🧶🤟
Just what i was looking for. Im waiting with baited breath for your next sock video Meanwhie I'll feast on your other completed works Thxx for bein you 🥳
I’m super excited to see the socks. I’m a total machine head or power tool head. Idk what to call it but I love using power tools and any hand crank type too. This is making me put one of these sock machines on my bucket list of machinery I want to own and master before I kick it. Looking forward to a series on these socks for sure
Loving my journey with my purple machine. Have not gone down the ribber trail yet. And we have a ‘sock machine basics’ crank in coming at he end of this month!
I want to buy a knitting machine so I can make socks. I would make billions. I cannot afford a high dollar setup like you purchased but I'm excited to see you use it.
I will admit I'm intrigued to see what kind of socks this will make. Are they knitted where I would just wear them around the house or somethng I could wear with shoes at work and such? and Yay for the guest kitty!
I watched your videos for the D&B machine, the Addi machine, and the mushroom machine. I think I want to get a machine to make some socks. Do you knit different items are each machine?
@@bxstar5276 I don't think you can compare the $40 Sentro to the $500+ LK-150 or Dean & Bean. I'm more familiar with the LK-150 & It has features that Sentro doesn't. The yarn is tensioned similar to a sewing machine with spring loaded disks. The carriage has a system that lets you adjust the stitch size> The needles are all metal and easily replaceable. Short rowing is as simple as flipping a lever and moving the needles to the front of the bed.
The man power to make the machine i can understand the price but i could never trust a 3d printer machine at that cost. whole reason the sentros die so quickly is their plastic gears.
I’m not sure this is a popular opinion for RUclips, but I love mini series, I look forward to seeing the journey over multiple days.
That’s fantastic to hear! I just feel like I’ll miss something otherwise
Me too! I’ve never seen one of these machines before and it helps how you are explaining everything so carefully.

I have a Dean and Bean and yet, for some reason, I keep visiting the Earlbacher website.
You are ADORABLE! I love seeing how joyous you are, Kayla! Yays! Cannot wait to see all of your spooktacular creations, Ghoul! 👻🫶🏻🧶
I just ordered my Kitchen Sink package yesterday. In purple and black. You made my day with this video.
I decided a couple weeks ago that I wanted one of these machines. Im so glad i can follow along in your journey and be able to learn.
Oooooh this is the first I’ve heard of an actual sock machine! I can’t wait to see how it work!

Would love a mini series! So happy you are reviewing this machine. Actually looking to purchase one myself

I love the sound these machines make! Very excited to see how your learning adventure goes.
I'm super excited for all of this!

I'm so excited you got this!! I got one for Christmas....and I am so hopeful I will learn along with you!
I have been thinking about ordering this one! Cannot wait to see all your thoughts!
I order my and it’s coming on 1/17 I can’t wait
Did you find the setting process and start-up easy? I know the assembly is not complex. I'm worried about starting my first pair of sock.
So awesome can't wait to see socks🖤
Can’t wait! I love hand knitted socks but they take forever
I just can't watch (I'm so jealous!) I can't justify the cost right now but I'm so happy for you!
Awesome can't wait to see your socks ❤
I would love a dean and bean but the Australian dollar is so down and shipping is ridiculous ., $1500 usa
I want to buy a knitting machine so I can make socks. I would make billions. I cannot afford a high dollar setup like you purchased but I'm excited to see you use it.
Can’t wait to see the socks!!!!!😊
Excited to see the next video. ❤
Hope you feel better ❤️

Super excited!!!
Oh, Dean & Bean…. I heard “Demon Bean”😅
I watched your videos for the D&B machine, the Addi machine, and the mushroom machine. I think I want to get a machine to make some socks. Do you knit different items are each machine?
I JUST LOOKED IT UP I GUESS I WILL NEVER HAVE THIS MACHINE IT IS SO EXPENSIVE
Never heard of this machine. How did you find it and how much did it cost? I'm sure it was not inexpensive. Looking forward to seeing what you create!
$575-1375 depending on accessories. for comparison an all metal Ehrlbacher machine starts at $1700 and can go over $3000.
Shut up and take my money Dean and Bean.
I'm very happy for you! Now we need to get you a flatbed like the LK-150.
Good idea! I’m a beginner and this looks like rocket science to me.
@@bxstar5276 Home knitting machines look a lot more complicated than they actually are.
@@raycreveling1583 really? I have the sentro and struggle 😂

How much does something like that cost? Looks complicated but extremely fun though. 🌺
Just curious what yarn is that one behind you that looks like Sally from NBC? 👀
How is it going with your sock machine now that you have had it for a couple of months?

I wonder if this is cheaper than the Erlbacher CSM🤔
I really want to see socks!
Jeez….Are you sure that was a sock machine or a 2000 piece puzzle? 😂😂😂
No kidding 😂😂😂😂
$1300, wow
I just got mine yesterday. Love it soooo much ❤
I didn’t like the nail polish. I used perm markers too.
Michelle Jasek, sors de ce corps ! 😅
