I will echo what Chris said near the end in which I feel is more important now than it ever has been. With so many people now using our National Forest's and BLM lands please enjoy it all by following the rules. TREAD LIGHTLY, PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACK IN and carry an extra trash bag to help clean up the messes disrespectful uncaring people have left. By doing so we do our part to help keep our lands open for us and future generations. Remember it's always the few that ruin it for us all.
The people that ruin it for everybody should be publicly flogged. Kidding of course, but those people won’t care if they feel they won’t get caught and the penalties are light if they do. It must be getting bad because I’ve seen many over landing channels bringing it up. The good people who clean after others unfortunately enable the bad people who leave a mess. Maybe some public shaming is in order.

Please take a few minutes to find a trash can and dispose if it properly. Our inner city beauty is important to maintain as well. As always Chris take care and Godspeed!
Some states only require the back one but you still need to have the front plate. Here in Hawai’i you can put it in the windshield as long as it can be seen from oncoming traffic I believe. I’ve been pulled over for not having a front plate while driving my friend’s loaner car when her’s was in the dealership. Didn’t know where it was and got let off.

He just returned from driving thousands of miles, i would be burned out to. Give him a break, I'm sure he will be back in top form soon enough. I liked this episode.
I get the recent travels and now that the move is over I keep hoping we get a portion of the “old” Venture4wd back … but been quite a while of the 2 to 3 days of “adventure” … I love this channel and expect some evolution but just seems like for quite a while it has been regressing and not evolving … will watch regardless & wish Mr. Shontz nothing but success and happiness …
@@Mink_24 I agree with your assessments; it feels like he is driving and filming only because he has too. Even this video felt that way and in fact it felt like he was driving in circles, run down to a creek for no reason, pad the video with gps map talk and the video is over.
Having a new girlfriend, as most dudes will do, is adjust your normal routine - it's inevitable. Especially if she moves in with you. You will have to change your habits and focus on her needs so both may be happy. I hope it works out.
@18:15 that's beautiful 😍
Thought that's what you was going to do when you got the Mercedes Benz was stay closer to it and explore more in one area. Cheese-It and Windex we need you......Peace
I agree with the Windex comment. Chris if you’re going to film through the windshield keep it reasonably clean.
So, you didn't bother to shift into 4L, lockup the lockers, then push those 2 fallen trees out of your way, eh? LOL. Enjoyed the scenery, as always.
Real men carry chainsaws.
@@w9jim I need one once and didn't have it, tree fell once I was in the forest (actually 2!), found a local guy that helped out. Now I never hit the trail without one!
I lived in Texas for a few years. Hated the heat plus humidity, loved the abundance of old buildings to photograph….
Not a Texas native by any stretch of the imagination thus I had the vanity plate “NOTATXN”, people loved it as there are so many transplants from other areas living in Texas…
Another enjoyable video Chris, stay safe out there.
Who cares where his vehicles are insured , he’s never in Texas very long . I’d think the cost if insurances cheeper than any other place . Great content , great soft reading . I never miss an episode. Keep up the great adventures.
It's not insurance. It's about the registration fees.
You really need to get a cordless chainsaw, there are some very capable ones out there. I’d also consider an e-mountain bike so you can extend your range when you run into situations like the trail getting too narrow because of snow.
Where is he going to put an e-mountain bike in that Jeep? 🙄
Chainsaw yes. E-bike no.
@@kleinbiker1 they fold up relatively small these days. It would take a little imagination and ingenuity Maybe remove part of the back seats and put it there.
@@corydriver7634 not really. I work at a bike shop.
Texas Tags?
I noticed that too. I guess TX is cheaper than PA
What trail/ NFS road is this?
If you are still in Canon City area, try pizza madness
Do you carry bear spray? Do you carry a gun? If not what protection do you use for your travels? Thx.
Hey Chris someone stole your Pa tag and put a texas one on there!!
Nice episode! What’s the brand of the blue shirt you wore on your lake hike? Looks comfortable.
Heading up hermit pass
Yay!
Texas license plates?
My first thought also.
I noticed that instantly as well! 😁
Born n raised in Texas. Moved to Colorado because of the mountains. I don’t miss the humidity, just my family
@@ZacTexC Pa native here, actually 2 miles from where he bought Orangey.
Seems to be a worldwide problem! Trash! Here in Australia where I live on the Murray River there’s some great campsites, but people leave Thier rubbish! If you take it in bring it out! 🇦🇺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Texas plates! Are you a Texan now?
Texas plates does not make you a Texan.
