This was also the day GSN began to display the Coming Up Next bumpers in the middle of the episodes and the jingle changes that went with it, and yes, Super Password returned to the regular GSN lineup that night too instead of having full episode treatments during As Seen On Theatre(which Child's Play is going from this point on).
at the 2:51-2:54 mark the guy in the plaid shirt w/ glasses in the 2nd row w/ the serious look shaking his head no when Bob was jokingly saying no prizes just playing for fun. LOL I think he thought Bob was being serious haha!
here's what aired in primetime: ABC: World Figure Skating Championships, The Century (Part 2) CBS: Promised Land (In the Money), Turks (Fathers and Sins), 48 Hours Fox: World's Wildest Police Videos, Fox Files NBC: Friends (repeat), Jesse (I Do, I Think I Do), Frasier (repeat), Veronica's Closet (Veronica's Big Homecoming), ER (repeat) UPN: UPN's Night at the Movies (Lost Souls) The WB: Smart Guy (CrossTalk), The Jamie Foxx Show (repeat), The Steve Harvey Show (repeat), For Your Love (repeat) In late night: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Jessica Biel, Jeremy Hotz, Keanu Reeves), Late Show with David Letterman (Dennis Hopper, The Corrs), Late Night with Conan O'Brien (Ahmet Zappa, Dweezil Zappa, Thayne Maynard), The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn (Jeff Goldblum, Jonny Moseley)
Playhouse Disney: Bear In The Big Blue House (repeat), Out Of The Box (repeat) PBS: Sesame Street (Episode 3839: Rosita and Telly teach Bolo the alphabet) MuchMusic MuchMusic Spotlight (Marilyn Manson)
And to think 20 years later, the show is tremendously over-budget due to frequent dollar spins and Mike Richards doing idiotic stunts and gimmicks to try to boost ratings! Here, Bob was funny.. that's part of the reason he was the best host of this show.
I mean, yes, some of the prizes are a little overinflated (like is a trip overseas REALLY that expensive?), but I really like how the current Price is Right looks. It's modern, it's sleek, and the prizes are things I would actually want to win (no offense, but I don't want to win a wall/floor clock or stemware).
I remember posting the showcase on my old RUclips channel. I also remember a ton of racist comments to the point I had to turn off the comments. I don’t miss those days.
Rest In Paradise Bob you will be missed!!!
“Fuel Efficient Non-Functional Engines”
That did it for me
All part of April fools

I was at Barber's Shop in Bessemer next to the Surplus Store right front of Regions Bank with my cousins Jamaal, Munchie, and Romeo.
3 cars? That's a good prize.
And luckily they're won
ewww but not those cars
Hell yeah it is. Can't complain about free cars.
53:18 rod roddy knows the air date so they will won't take anything up to chance
The woman with the three cars had no idea what was going on. She did not know what she bid and she had no idea she won.
15:42 Awwww man, she should’ve gone with $16,000.
But she won $4,000 instead of $16,000.
17:24 senokot, i feel good theme song
9 cars won in the showcase?!
That makes up for the no win show.
And 6 of these are priceless bonuses that could go great in the toy shelf.

20 years ago today!
At first, I thought Bob would say, "I need a bid before the buzzer sounds." when that contestant was stalling for time.
They say to this day Sumiko's left blinker is still flashing...
I had a 95 Ford Aspire and it got great gas mileage. I got over 200,000 miles out of that little car

Here, Bob was funny.. that's part of the reason he was the best host of this show.
But Mike is leaving the season up to Evelyn Warfel instead. I'm not sure what to think this time.

A dollar spin doesn’t put the show over budget. Lordy.

Too bad it was an 0/6 show. Had it not been April Fools Day, this show would’ve been less exciting.
This is my birthday and year
What? Mine too!
Sixteen years later, they pulled the ultimate April Fool's prank when they announced Drew Carey and out came the legend.
