Tim and Scott have ALWAYS played Ibanez guitars, much like myself. Also, I don't personally mind this era of Polyphia but it does lack the sophistication of their more contemporary music IMO. Even a song like Neurotica off their new album, which is much more in line with their older music by its tone still features their modern flare for song-writing which is much more dynamic with extra little flourishes thrown in to spice things up. The Most Hated EP is when that style first started to show up and was ramped up to 11 in their New Levels New Devils album so I'm incredibly excited to hear the music they've produced for their upcoming album based off the two songs I've heard thus far.
Personally I think New Levels New Devils was a step-down for them as far as actual song-writing is concerned. Sure, it's impressive, but it doesn't have the same melodic through put as Renaissance.
Told you that you'd enjoy "Crush" At this point I'd recommend 2 more from "Renaissance" album: If you want a music video then definitely "Euphoria" and if just audio then the first track on album "Culture Shock"
I really hope you check out all of the Renaissance album. If you liked this song and Nightmare, basically the whole album is like that. I already asked for Amour off of that album, it's the track before this one and the definition of sexy guitar. Polyphia has gone hard from the start.
@@prasadsatpute1294 It really is slept on but it doesn't get as many requests as G.O.A.T. or O.D. or Nasty and now the new singles. Also, there is a video on youtube of a girl doing a belly? dance to Amour. It's actually pretty good.
Maybe I'm a dork but Paramore also has a song called PLAYING GOD ... Who's Stalking Who ??? Here ... Who ... Here ... WHO ... Does one of our POLYPHIATS have a little 'crush' on Hayley Williams ??? LOL ... Yeah I'm a DORK !!!
@@cafetrey Hey Trey are you familiar with Gojira (not the stop-motion dragon demon that terrorized the Japanese public in the 1950's). A Band from France with is roots in Deathcore that started earning mainstream notoriety after a highly successful world tour opening for Metallica on their Load / Reload album cycles. I have a request. If you haven't already had the pleasure, would you mind diving into A few of their songs. I really like "AMAZONIA", "STRANDED", "SILVERA", and there are so many gems. Hey man, I tend to not leave comments in videos and have never attempted to influence a reaction. But... if you could check out Intervals- Lock and Key, Vitalism - Bipolarity, Jason Richardson - Poombachu, or Plini - I'll Tell You Someday I'd be stoked. You're part of my morning routine, thanks for the content!
If you want to diversify your reactions and not be disappointed I'm sure we'd all like to see a reaction to one of my favorite solo artists (his girlfriend plays bass) "Berried Alive": Fuego first song to get your feet wet! I love polyphia but would love to see this reaction to diversify it up a bit.
Polyphia is one of those bands where every track is worth listening too. Im so glad you decided to dive into the "oldies"🤣
I’m loving the oldies.

You are like the Polyphia historian! thanks for the detailed info.
@@cafetrey A little correction, they played Jackson on 'Impassion' and Musicman on 'Champagne'.

His Bass looks like a kiesel custom six-string (the model is called vanquish)
As much as I like the bass. Maybe I should start playing one
Can't wait for the Icronic or Rich Kids video. :)
Uh oh

You were right for sure. I love this song. It hits different. I trust your musical judgement
The two most overplayed songs on the album fuck that… play ivory, play amour especially. And absolutely NIGHTMARE
I'm glad I'm not the only one that called it a crush
Polyphia rabbit hole approved!👍
I love it!
Crushed it
😂🤣
87 by polyphia I think will be your fave
I don’t think that one has been requested yet. Thanks for recommending it!
The bass is a Kiesel 6 String Vanquish!
Thank you! It’s a beautiful bass. Thinking about trying to learn the bass now.

Mmhmm... Amour is a real underrated song, I mean that whole EP is slept upon by the reactors

In my opinion, a lot of most artists best songs are not the commercially popular songs. I'll check it out
This is the Scottie side of the band. The funky, loose, slidey stuff is all Scottie.
you should do mood swing or aviator or champagne! 87 and finale are also absolutely amazing! finale sounds like it’s straight put of an anime
and if you want more from the same album as crush and nightmare try culture shock!
I'm heading in that direction. Their music label claims everything, so I had to slow down on their videos for a bit.
ok cool
That was pretty catchy
Check-out Polyphia's Envision (feat. RICK GRAHAM)...please...u won't get disappointed...🙏
I love that song, the opening solo is particularly nice
Yeah and the guest solo by Rick too...
You all never steer me wrong! Never heard of Rick Graham. Sounds very very interesting......
Hey! No Spoilers! 🤣😂
Got me all hyped up now. No spoilers please 🙏😂

Hahaha 🤣🤦♂️. I definitely a dork. There ain't nothing wrong with crushing on her at all.

if you wanna listen to another crazy guitarist you should olso check out marcin
These crazy good guitarists are coming out of the woodwork. Or maybe I have just been living under a rock.
Seems like you forgot about the band The Omnific with the song antecedent. I’ve been wanting you to get a bass overload……….
Haven’t forgot about them. You all wouldn’t let me forget if I tried 😂😂

Diversity in music is what I am all about. I will check it on in the near future mate!
Plz react polyphia finally
It's on the list with Bad. I hope to get to them soon.
Please react to aviator
I have that video recorded. Just waiting on permission from their label to post it.
Steve Vai -Teeth of The Hydra
He’s the man! I’ll check it out
