When i first heard Euphoria, i was quite impressed with the simple but catchy melodies, but once i heard Crush i was like dude these guys are actually pushing the boundaries and making fresh new stuff, from then on i was a fan 🤘🤘
Polyphia was/is of course, naturally gaining popularity over time. But as someone who has been a fan of theirs for almost 10 years, now, honestly man go back through their discography- you will not regret it. They have always been an absolute fire band its just that everyone slept on them because "oh but i like the songs with singy words in them". If you havent heard any of the following, i highly recommend (in no particular order): 40oz Look but dont touch Nightmare Euphoria Champagne Goose The Worst Storm Culture Shock Nasty GOAT Death Note OD Bad Drown 87 - this was actually i believe the flagship song of their debut album, so REALLY old for them but seriously have a listen to it... its still amazing so they've obviously been great the whole time, just taken some time for the world to figure it out.
Just wondering, is the top of your door crooked or is it the horizon of your camera shot? Doesn't detract from the video but its just interesting as someone who has a fine eye for detail.
John, I would definitely say so! One thing I do find interesting though is even through the evolution, they always (at least in my opinion) manage to have those really groovy melodies that just draw you in.
They've evolved amazingly from a technical aspect. But for some reason I feel like their music has begun to lack emotions lately. Not talking about making you cry and shit. Just...... idk, feels a bit empty to me, their music of late, that is.
I have a request to check out the British pop/rock band mcfly. They are a great and popular uk band in the early 2000's. A mix of the beetles, the beach boys, and like blink 182 is the way I would describe them. I recommend their newest song Tonight is the Night.
Loved this song. Also, just want to say how much I appreciate the fact that your sound quality is so good, both in terms of your own speech as well as the sound. Side note: maybe react to Marcus King playing/singing “side door” at jam in the van. Dude is a wizard on guitar and has one of the best voices on earth. More of a blues feel than rock, but if you’re into that, check him out.
Yo man I love your polyphia videos! You should check out crosty by polyphia. It is definitely my fav orite song from them. 10/10 recommend you give it a listen
It's Finally Here! Crush!!!

One of my favorite polyphia songs

Don't you know that a mountain should level out when a camera points at it?!!
I think their track "James Franco" is also worth checking out. It's one of their earlier tracks
I'll add it to my list James. I don't think I have that one on there.
Going to see them in August in Los Angeles
They’ve evolved quite a bit in just 5 years.
