I like modern pottery designs like Russel Wright that can be placed on some of the minimalist tables. That said, everything goes in cycles. There's more millionaires out there today, ans the millennial's are part of that. They love their travel, and their ease at home. That said though, they also have more time to save . This is just a thought .Right now you can buy some of the most gorgeous antique furniture for next to nothing. Baby boomers are in RV's and the older retired are moving into these wonderful coop homes. When nobody wants it, and it's good , that's when you have to take a look at these items/things. If you're younger, and you got time, this is something you should think about. Think of this. Nobody wanted Mexican House Jewelry , for it was looked down upon as road side jewelry . Now look at some of those Taxco pieces. Something went for Victorian and even Edwardian . Christ you can't even get real Edwardian Jewelry anymore . Most of the good stuff is in museums . Victorian yes it's still out there , but try and find a nice Victorian Mourning piece. I could kick myself in the ass with that one. No, you don't have to be obsessive and own every single one of everything. That's why forced collectibles did so well , and yes having a good spiritual side is important, for it tends to fill the holes, but don't dislike aspects of culture and art because people think that's the proper way to happiness . Find that balance, because there's people like me who will swoop down and in and buy up what you believe is just materialism . When everyone goes over to one side of the boat to look over at what everyone is looking at, it might prove prudent to go over and look at the same sea with a different point of view. _Final thought though_ . *Keeping up with the Jones can cause lots of financial damage* .

You're one of the most humble dudes in the frag com.....(and that's rare)always giving very true honest critiques but most importantly for a guy like myself that was just starting out...very encouraging!!! Hey Justin, I just wanted to start by saying thank you for all of your videos. I have always enjoyed seeing your videos whenever I came across them (even if I already watched it). I learned a lot about the different scents and learning about notes and everything associated with fragrance. Plus the lists you would compile together definitely had a part in a few of my fragrance buys so thank you for those lists. You are not just another reviewer. I hold you in high regards to some of my favorite fragrance reviewers and I truly mean that. Got to say I was shocked and saddened to hear from Chris that you are taking a break. I think it takes a lot of courage to step back and analyze how and where you are in life. What you are doing is smart, and not selfish by any means necessary. You are doing what some of us could never really admit to. We all know this hobby is expensive and at times it gets the best of us. I wish this hobby wasn't but sometimes it's the price we pay to enjoy a little part of life. It's unfortunate that you moving has partially affected your love and passion for fragrance, but I certainly hope the spark does not die out completely. I would love to see you return, but even if you don't return to fragrance, perhaps there is another part of your life you would be willing to share with us. I'd hate to see you gone from this platform forever, but I understand that breaks are needed from time to time and sometimes indefinitely. I've gone through and I'm going through the ups and downs of this hobby. I'll have months where I hardly buy something then months I buy 25 bottles. I built my first collection and gave and sold it away. Then when I came back I just bought bottles I love and back ups because I hate reformulations. But I have a guilty feeling inside like I shouldn't have done that. I really like how you're smooth and soft spoken and hope life takes you down the right path and you find what you're searching for.☮

tonyk25 I wouldn’t recommend blind buy. I suggest you to go to a Macy’s, Sephora, Dillard’s, Belk, and try it out there. The citrus can be a little too sharp, I personally didn’t like it so much and I wanted to blind buy it too!
tonky25 I don't suggest blind buying it either. I almost bought one because of the hype but I decided to try it first in my local mall and even then, I almost bought it. Personally, the opening is what I like best about Artisan Pure because it smells fresh and breezy but the dry down smells like laundry detergent that pierces through my nose and I didn't like that. Ended up not buying it lol.

Man, you made a lot of sense on your speech late in this video. I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I was never the kind of person to buy things that I don't need so starting this hobby makes me feel empty and satisfied at the same time. Fortunately, I only have 4 full bottles as of now and a couple of 10mL decants and I buy only the fragrances that I really enjoy and see myself wearing thoroughly. It's tough to see collectors/enthusiasts sell their perfumes for the reason same as yours. It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong lol. Hey Justin, I just wanted to start by saying thank you for all of your videos. I have always enjoyed seeing your videos whenever I came across them (even if I already watched it). I learned a lot about the different scents and learning about notes and everything associated with fragrance. Plus the lists you would compile together definitely had a part in a few of my fragrance buys so thank you for those lists. You are not just another reviewer. I hold you in high regards to some of my favorite fragrance reviewers and I truly mean that.
Got to say I was shocked and saddened to hear from Chris that you are taking a break. I think it takes a lot of courage to step back and analyze how and where you are in life. What you are doing is smart, and not selfish by any means necessary. You are doing what some of us could never really admit to. We all know this hobby is expensive and at times it gets the best of us. I wish this hobby wasn't but sometimes it's the price we pay to enjoy a little part of life. It's unfortunate that you moving has partially affected your love and passion for fragrance, but I certainly hope the spark does not die out completely.
I would love to see you return, but even if you don't return to fragrance, perhaps there is another part of your life you would be willing to share with us. I'd hate to see you gone from this platform forever, but I understand that breaks are needed from time to time and sometimes indefinitely. But no matter what, I hope you can take the positive and fun times you have had thus far (it's only the beginning) and fuel that into your attitude right now in your life. I'll miss you. I've gone through and I'm going through the ups and downs of this hobby. I'll have months where I hardly buy something then months I buy 25 bottles. I built my first collection and gave and sold it away. Then when I came back I just bought bottles I love and back ups because I hate reformulations. But I have a guilty feeling inside like I shouldn't have done that. I really like how you're smooth and soft spoken and hope life takes you down the right path and you find what you're searching for.☮

tonyk25 I wouldn’t recommend blind buy. I suggest you to go to a Macy’s, Sephora, Dillard’s, Belk, and try it out there. The citrus can be a little too sharp, I personally didn’t like it so much and I wanted to blind buy it too!

tonky25 I don't suggest blind buying it either. I almost bought one because of the hype but I decided to try it first in my local mall and even then, I almost bought it. Personally, the opening is what I like best about Artisan Pure because it smells fresh and breezy but the dry down smells like laundry detergent that pierces through my nose and I didn't like that. Ended up not buying it lol.

Man, you made a lot of sense on your speech late in this video. I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I was never the kind of person to buy things that I don't need so starting this hobby makes me feel empty and satisfied at the same time. Fortunately, I only have 4 full bottles as of now and a couple of 10mL decants and I buy only the fragrances that I really enjoy and see myself wearing thoroughly. It's tough to see collectors/enthusiasts sell their perfumes for the reason same as yours. It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong lol. Anyway, I wish you all the best and even though you are trying to limit your collection, I hope you still continue to make videos because I don't know why but your videos are soothing. :)
