Another great video and sick set-up, Damion! Love the grip job and sticker placement you did on it... super stoked for you that you got to rip around on your first board again. Now only if they would make a Muska Silhouette Reissue, I'd be set... 🤤 I'm staying posted for your giveaway, you know my love for stickers! And I got to send you some clips of me shredding the Santa Cruz board in the bowl - I'm so in LOVE with it! Thanks again, homie (for everything), and keep skating 🤘🛹 -Leah I
This is so awesome to see, the last board I skated was an original 1990 Omar “Arabian Nights” (that’s what it was known as back then). It was my favorite deck out of everything I’ve skated. I sold it in 2015 with all the OG ‘90’s parts on it. What a great shaped board and really fun to skate. 🎉🛹
My first pro board was a A-Team Marc Johnson panther board, thunders, spitfires, black panther bearings, shortys hardware! I love Bronson raws, so good right out the box and last for days!
@@radoldrat it was definitely a step up from my first board, Nash deck with glue and gravel for grip, plastic trucks and wheels and generic abec 3 bearings!
Another fun video. I also like my trucks on the tighter side, with Bones hard bushings. My buddies give me a hard time for it, but that’s what I got comfortable with back in the day. 👊 Loved the session at the end seeing you have fun skating the deck. Sorry that the cold weather hits you a bit early up north. Hopefully you got some indoor spots.
Hey thank you man! Yeah it's mostly cold in the mornings right now which is usually the only chance I get to skate but I'm going to try to tough it out as long as I can! 🙏💪😤
Awesome set up dude. Wish you and that skate shop you go to weren’t across Canada from me, would be awesome to get a old man session going lol . Keep on rippin 🤟
Congrats on being able to get your board. And awesome session. The important board to me is the 1989 white Tony Hawk Claw Powell board. There is actually on in the shop photo in your video. I was able to get one in 2018. I was skating it until I was able to get the bird man to sign it. Now it hangs in the living room. Do you have any indoor parks?
That's rad man that was has always been on my wishlist! No indoor parks that I'm aware of which blows my mind considering how big the skate scene in Vancouver is and how we're also known for rain!!??
My first board was a santa Cruz Keith Meeks slasher gold wing trucks rad bone wheeles it had rails coppers tail plate even the back truck Guard it was heavy it was colorful and the best damn board I ever had
my 1st 'pro' board was a purple HOSOI HAMMERHEAD STREET frontside air in front of the rising sun art. Yellow grip, Yellow UGLY STIX rails, white VENTURES with white RAT BONES back in '88. Did'ja Get Your THRASHIN' dvd yet?
Great video, almost emotional ! 🔥👍 Except for the board and the rails, I have exactly the same set up ( Indy trucks, OJ II combo, Bronson G3 bearings and psycho risers) ! 😁 My first "pro board" was a second hand Vision PsychoStick Mini (pretty trashed). But after, the first deck I bought by myself in a skateshop was a blue Powell Peralta Vallely Elephant (I remember it like it was yesterday, the same feeling when you are facing the wall full of brand new skateboard decks and have to choose the right one !) … So much good memories ! By the way, what is your opinion on the OJ II Combo reissue wheels ? Do you like them or not ?
That's so rad man thank you for sharing! This is why I do what I do! Yes, I do like the OJ's!! I was a little worried that they wouldn't slide but if you dig down hard enough you can get a good slide! And I'm actually really enjoying the Bronson Raw's! Aside from a little less coast I see very little difference between these and the bone swiss! 🛹🐀
You’re welcome ! 😁 Glad that you enjoy your new set up ! And thank you for mentioning Damon Mills in your video ! He really deserves great recognition, he always does amazing screen-printing jobs (quality, colors) and he is by far the best actually on the market (it’s my honest opinion) ! 🔥
@radoldrat can't remember I can name a few I've had though when I was young salba witch doctor/ hawk chicken skull/ natas panther/ gurrero dagger/ mc Gill snake/ yellow vallely 🐘/ray barbee hydrant/ .
I'm trying to get out of it but it's becoming like a crutch or superstition haha. If I don't see that checkered line going up I get weirded out. Maybe one day 🤞
I LOVE them thank you!! I see very little difference between these and the Bones Swiss except the Swiss have a little more coast, less push. Mind you once these break in I'm sure that will be comparable as well!! 🛹🐀
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PRO BOARD!? 🛹🐀
Kareem Campbell World Industries board around '97
That's a sick board! I love the old World decks! 🛹🐀
My first pro deck was an 87 Schmitt Stix Monte Nolder!🛹🤘
My first proboard... Bucky Lasek Stadium
@papoirie4213 I love that graphic! 🛹🐀
Hope to see more videos from you this winter, love the board setups and grip tape sticker jobs.
Just a couple more days!! Got lots of new content coming!! Thanks for sticking around!! 🛹🐀

Thank you for the retro setup videos. It really takes me back.
Hey my pleasure man! Glad you're enjoying! 🛹🐀
👏 👏 👏 awesome grip job as always!!! Ive been thinking about getting a blockhead deck, so many good choices.

I had this board but other colors and transparent griptape with lots of stickers.
Was it the Madrid fly tape by any chance? 🪰🪰🪰
