    I've been to Norway last summer and I'm coming again in July. A beautiful country and warmhearted people. I wish you eternal peace and prosperity.
    Greetings from the Emirates, god bless you.

    At 15.45 she says that meeting a person like him (the prince) and the love he has given her has been really important to her. She also says that the love he gave her helped her change and that she always felt that he understood her. At the end she says that she thinks it's because he's a very kindhearted person, that he has an ability to see people with respect like few others (she also said that he's much better at that than her) and that she has learned a lot from him

    Amanda Coucheron: Thanks for up loading this lovely documentary of the Royal family of Norway. I think that the King is a very nice person and humble...very warm and a real person. God bless him and his family. My love to Marta Louise such a cool lady!. Cheers from New Orleans the city of jazz and the "cajun" food. USA. We love Norway, we went there last year.

    What a Prince! Crown Prince Haakon is indeed Prince Charming. I read that he told his parents " I am marrying this woman or not marrying at all!" What a bold thing to say to one's parents! This man truly loves this woman, and this woman truly loves this man. I wish these two all the happiness!!

      ***** Thank you for the correction, Musicallover. :) I really like Crown Prince Haakon now. My other used to be Prince Felipe of Spain, but now that he is King... :) Anyways, I really wish these two all the happiness! And I am sure he is a wonderful stepfather to Mette-Marit's son.

    At 14.50 she says that she feels that love is greater when they support each other. She also said that their family support each other just like they're supposed to.

  • @vsoernes
    @vsoernes 9 лет назад +17

    Translation: 14.50 - 17.40:
    I see in so many ways, that love is strongest when we carry each other. I have seen an incredibly beautiful movie where they say: ”In the families, that´s what we do - we carry each other.” I experience that in my family, especially with my children. Hans Børli has written a poem about keeping our souls soft, and I see that is what my children are doing with me. There is something about living in a relationship that can be demanding, with the lives we are living and everything that happens around us, and that it is why it is important to stop for a moment and tell this to each other as well.
    In church:
    Meeting a person, affects you. And I experience that the person I met, and the love this person has shown me, has been a great power in my life. That is why this love has been such a great power of change for me; I felt so strongly that Haakon saw me when we met. That makes me, in many ways, capable to love myself when I am at my darkest spot. I think that is because Haakon is a person that is exceptionally generous, and he has an ability to meet people with a respect and love I believe few of us has inside. He takes this ability with him when he meets people, much more than I do. I learn much of him in my everyday and relationship. It means so much to live with such a person, because it means I always move closer to the best in me.
    This was the most important for me tonight, to tell Haakon what it has meant to me to meet him.

Women were wearing these traditional dresses. Its such an amazing city and country and oh yes women are very beautiful.

      "Viking" was more like a job/lifestyle, not a people. Norwegians are North Germanic people, actually. You can also call them "Scandinavian". But they are not Vikings.

    I have a fascination with Scandinavian countries, especially Norway and Sweden. It is my dream to be able to visit these two countries one day ( maybe I should win the lottery! ). Anyways, when I read Crown Prince Haakon married a single mother and King Felipe of Spain married a divorced woman, I was very impressed. I am from an Eastern culture where being single mother and a divorcee are a very big deal. So that's why I was so impressed.That these two ( PRINCES!! ) loved their women so much that they didn't mind becoming a stepfather and a second husband. Wow. That's why I liked Prince Haakon and Prince Felipe ( now King ) so much. I wish Prince Charles of England have had enough courage to go against his parents' wishes and married the woman he loved from the beginning. And again, I sense such warmth and kindness from Prince Haakon. Mett-Marit is really fortunate that she met a man like Prince Haakon, and Prince Haakon the woman he loves so much. I am sure they will be wonderful King and Queen one day. :)

      Soojee Pyo the royal family from Norway comes from Denmark, Norway was without a king, and Norway have been Danish i think until 1814, so from Denmark they sent a danish prince, a he became king of Norway, i think it was Crown Prince Haahons granddad or greatgranddad, even to day the 2 royal families are very close, The royal family from Norway and the royal family from Denmark, every year Queen Margrethe is skiing with Queen Sonja.

      Further: They speak about their dogs birthday at the cafe. Haakon and the kids have celebrated Milly and gave her bacon and gifts. "When I look back at these ten years, I have been lucky to spend so much time with Mette, and that she has been willing to stand with me through all occasions. She says, "Meeting another person, does something to you; in my experience, the person I met and the love that person have shown me has been a huge strength in my life. So... love has been a force of change for me, because I (strongly) felt like Håkon saw me when we (first) met each other. And... because of that, I can love myself even during the darkest of times. Uhm... I think it's because Håkon is a person who's unbelievable generous and he has the ability to see (treat) people with respect and love. And he always brings that with him when he meet people - much more than I do. I've learned a lot from it (how Håkon treats people) in my everyday life and relationship and it means a lot to me to live with a person like that - because it means I can grow towards the greatest of me."
