Some other tips I would give: - Your mic and cam are out of sync, audio should probably be delayed by a couple of frames (it's very obvious at the start of this video when you're full screen cam) - It could be a personal preference of yours, but I find the EQ on your mic to focus way too much on lower frequencies, it sound like you're in a bottle, basically; at least it does with headphones. This video helped me a lot when I started: ruclips.net/video/Ev921CyMRQw/видео.html
Thanks so much for the additional tips! I've toned down the compression a bit on newer videos, so hopefully that solves for the last. I do try to catch the frame issue. I blame it mostly on the CamLink since every now and then it's a few frames behind and every other time it's perfect. I'll double check all of these things before my next video. ☺️
If you allowe me, Josh, one other thing I think is not 100% is the contrast on your cam. In some videos it looks like there is not enough contrast. You could test increasing the contrast and compare the results. Just a tip.
Thank you! I’ll give it a shot! I don’t change it between videos so it might be the different colors I choose for background so maybe a bit more might help ☺️
Another video tip: Check the black levels on your camera. Your highlights and color look good but your black levels look way too high which is causing the dark parts of the image to look very washed out.
Welp... Never noticed it 😂 I know this rule tho. I guess we all just focus on the content instead of the presentation. I guess it proves we're all laravel devs here 🤠
@@joshcirre lol I just watched the LWJ video you're in and I started out with thinking this is going to be an unfair challenge against js devs... I ended the video thinking oh boy, laravel devs will never be invited in a competition against js devs ever again 😂😂
That was quick
Holy hell the text looks so much cleaner
Now I’m going to have to redo all of my videos.
@@joshcirre can you redo mine too?
That's what she said
We never stop learning! Great insight into the process. Thanks, Josh (and Theo)! 😊

Surely H I DPI, is actually High DPI?
You know? That’s probably right? 🧐
@@joshcirre Yes - sorry for not correcting this in our call lol

Thank you! I’ll check that out and try some adjustments. ☺️
@@joshcirre I thought that was a stylistic choice, like the old instagram hipster area of the mid 2010s. I like it

I noticed it but didn’t realize until now how much it bothered me. But now I don’t have to think about it again. 😂
