My grandfather built his family fishing home on Lake watery in the 50s or 60s and at the time information is available about the highest possible levels that flooding could produce unless a dam upstream fails. Water has never gotten above that level, but it is a hassle to have to move the boat to make sure it doesn’t end up on top of the dock or something. I think everybody who has a place or uses Lake wateree should use this to their advantage for not only dock building, but also surveying potential hazards there are many unmarked hazards underneath the normal water level, including the chain of islands with the larger, one known as sledding island. It’s like Hawaii, and the two smallest islands are usually underwater, but not marked, if the lake it’s just a foot or two low those temporary hazards can become extreme dangers and everybody should become familiar with the lake at a lower level to know about these things fishing spots other good stuff it’s also helpful for cleanup and killing any negative aquatic plants
