Holà , Por favor tengo unas cuestiones sobre los sonidos que salen del cajón por favor lo he comprado pero no tengo los mismos sonidos me puedes ayudar??
I bought one of these and I really really like it. The playability and construction are top notch. I can't wait to work more with the electronic sounds. I have a question though, where can I get a battery connector like the one in this video? Are these standard?
The video shows a little speaker working while the Cajon is connected to a 9v battery. My concern is the power requirements with a half stack. I will just assumed that if I plug the half stack into an outlet 120v and connect the 9v to the Cajon it should work. As I said, I was looking into purchasing. I obviously watched the video. Wouldn't be willing to spend over 500 dollars or euros without doing some reaserch
Assuming that by "half stack" you mean the amplifier, then it would require a different power source than the electronic module. You can either plug the half stack, or run it on battery, while you do the same with the electronic module of the cajón. They are separate elements and each one needs its own power.
I got it. It's cool. I bought the Cajon. Has its own power chord, that's the answer I was looking for haha. I'm upset with the quality of the touch pads/ manufacturing tho. You have any tips for; - when I hit the face plate, the bottom touch pad sound (out of the 3) goes off in the amp. - all 3 pads are tilted slightly down within the holes. - can I adjust the sensativity of the pads? When I play with 2 hands on one pad, it doesn't register all my strikes.
The pad manufacturing and electronic module is provided by ErmanitoPlay, which is the company we cooperate with for this hybrid model. The sensitivity of the pads, and that of the frequency of hits can be both adjusted on a scale from 1 to 10, and it is explained in the manual that comes with the cajon. It has a default setting of 6. You should have the manual, it comes with the purchase, and if for some reason it got lost, there is a pdf on our web page. Playing the pads involves a certain feeling that comes with use: they should be played with the tips of the fingers, and although they don´t respond exactly as an acoustic cajon would, it is possible to do quite a lot with them, the video by Pablo Gomez shows its potential. As for the pads placement, there is a certain tolerance, which shouldn´t be more than 2/3 mm. If it´s bigger than that, and you feel it is affecting your performance, we can look into solving that problem, you can contact us directly on our webpage cajondg.com Apart from the electronic part we really feel that it is one of our most accomplished products as an acoustic cajon alone. I hope you can agree with that
Gabriel Rayo +I agree. I own a Roland. It is ok but Centaur Cajon has more features. And I like the trigger pads on the side. The only thing, Roland has a feature which is build in speaker. I hope the company could incorporate the build in speaker on the 2nd generation.
Hey if anyone is selling this please let me know im interested in buying one or maybe two
The electronics on this DG cajon sound so much better than the Roland EC-10.
I see it has been removed from sale, it would be nice to have something like this that would allow you to play and play loops to play on it.

Anyone know if this has a pickup built in (besides the direct out for the triggers)?
It doesn´t feature an in-built pick up. The acoustic part needs a microphone to be amplified. Greetings.
