Major props to Vector’s VA here. The switch between the two voices is amazing and I felt like there was a huge payoff hearing his “real” voice that had so much emotion
Absolutely. I was going to comment this but figured I'd look to see if anyone else had. Surprisingly, you're the only one I've found-he puts a lot of emotion into his voice, it's well done.
The imperial agent is one of my favorite story lines because it allowed me to play a very complicated character. This sort of thing didn't happen with any other story I felt. I played a cold forged man but was not cruel or totally unkind. He was was prideful of his service to the empire but rolled over to the whims of the Sith, frustrated at them all the while for making his job harder every day and complaining with other intelligence officers about it. I was never able to actually choose choices that didn't adhere to one main attitude of the character. Genuine frustration that had to be sucked up was really new and interesting. Usually that character is frustrated at a situation then just fix it.
EonaLieksCheese He may be flamboyant but from the conversations the female warrior has with Doc, he is trustworthy. He may come off as someone who galivants or someone with somewhat questionable morals but overall he's a morally good character.
+Jennifer Bibi I can understand Vector's appeal, but why Doc? He's annoying and he flirts with every girl he lays his eyes on. Not exactly healthy relationship material.
Lt. Basil if you progress through the relationship he does actually change a little. When he ends up having a relationship with the JK he comes to realise having a healthy realtionship is a good thing. Heck, he even wants kids with her at the end. Healthy to me is understanding your relationship and acknowledging your partners faults. He flirts a lot yeah, but did they ever show him being unfaithful or cheating? He even makes a comment where he researched wookies. At first he couldn't fathom being with only one person but after a while he learned more while being in that relationship. Lol Doc doesn't seem popular. I guess you and i are going to have to agree to disagree
Lt. Basil as for the appeal i just found him funny. His cheesy jokes and his big ego just made me laugh. I can see why people would find it annoying but he's fun and it was a good route that wasn't too intense and angsty. Though i will admit it was a little flat at the and the pacing was a little off.
I love Vector and his story. Some people find it off putting because of the hive-mind thing. But the point of the story (at least the romance story) is that he becomes more than just part of the hive. He gets back into what he loved as a human and allows himself to feel human emotions again without having to give up the nest and the feeling of community. And the Agent accepts him for that. I think it's a beautiful story of acceptance and unconditional love. Thanks for the video! I typed out every piece of dialogue for the Expanded SWTOR Universe story I'm writing for my Harbinger server Legacy =)
It's understandable to find him creepy, I think there's a very niche market for hive-minds. I usually hate them in stories because I find them strange. But it just works with Vector I dunno why haha
I know this is a three year old comment but I just had to reply since I was just thinking about the Vector romance having just finished an agent character. I'd first want to say he wasn't willingly joined to the Hive, he rediscovers his humanity and individuality thanks to the player but that was never taken from him by his own volition. The sense of community he gets from the nest is because the nest decided to make him a valuable asset as Dawn Herald. The Nest decides what he does and doesn't get to do and he's brainwashed into accepting it because of the gradual joining process he was likely unknowingly subjected. Sure the agents accepts him for his joiner status but that's just allowing the continuance of a major medical affliction under the condition of "love and acceptance". If we really wanted to do right by Vector we would have freed him from the hive mind and and given him his complete independence back with some consequences for the relationship. As it stands now Vector is nothing but a slave to an insect hive mind and we actively do him a disservice by not freeing him of what really is a medical affliction.
Thank you again for making this, I love Vector along with Doc, Torian, Corso and Aric. He's different but sweet and would grow on you if given the chance.
6:42 agent: nothing wins a girl's heart like bug milk vector: we're not sure you'd like to hear t he details me: well whatever it is im sure its much better than green milk luke squeeze and drink in the last jedi....
WorkGalaxy47 use body #1, Asian face of choice and hair #2 and complexion of choice. I used purplish blue skin and dark blue hair. I love my IA. Chiss rule.
Does ANYONE know the name of the theme that plays at 30:20, 39:28 - 40:00. It seems to play whenever there's serious romantic interaction with Vector, and I've always seen it as... his theme, more or less. Anyone know where this exists on the soundtrack, if at all? It's beautiful.
Sort of... "Joining" the Killik hive mind dulls your personality and sense of self. You become a part of a greater whole, rather than a singular entity. Your knowledge and skills are shared among the Killiks, and your personality subtly influences a certain nest's behavior, but you yourself are a drone among many. It sounds bad, but Killiks don't force people to join. They're peaceful by nature. Those who do, do so willingly, and find their own lives enriched by this new state of being. The process can be reversed but most simply choose not to, because they're happy to be a part of something greater than themselves.
I haven't watched the whole video because I want Vector as my agent's Love interest. Is he a good mix with a sniper? DPS doesn't usually mix well with other DPS's
It is possible to make DPS + DPS work. You take down mobs twice as fast, just remember to pause between fights to heal yourself. I have a gunslinger + HK-51 combo and it works well for me
So I just finished the Eradicators quest but didn't get that dialogue and the flirting option :((( do you need max affection? I only have like 1/4 and it's hard (?) to get my hands on gifts... T_T
+FluffyNinjaLlama ugh great. At least I did get the Companion Conversations and I'm a bit closer to 50% affection haha xD will try to look for gifts so I max it out asap... thank you very much for the confirmation
I actually hate that Vector cares more about himself and his clan of murdering psycho-bugs than you. I always refuse his proposal, because I think if he truly loves me, he should have the decently to undo his joining and become a human again. It's sad that the Female agent has to go without a lover, but that problem was resolved in expansions by allowing them to marry Theron Shan. An Imperial Agent and an SIS agent falling in love is the coolest thing ever. Especially when you do LS agent, and end up a double agent, which also ties in nicely to being a Saboteur with Onslaught.
@@Nemisionn Have you not played the LS agent? The Killiks wanted to force House Cortress to become joiners, and when the LS Agent rightfully testifies against such War Crimes, Vector stands by your side and slays all the Kelliks.
@@Real_JKDOSI don't play LS sith/agents, but this video literally shows how that goes. And killing some killiks is not the same as completely leaving them. It's all but stated that he didn't join them willingly in the first place, so if he was able to leave he most likely would've left. He isn't completely "absorbed" by them - since he explicitly says that he doesn't want Agent to become a joiner (which the killiks would probably prefer), and is able to fall for her and temporarily suppress the connection, but there is nothing that even implies he'd be able to actually leave.

Moerighan I didn’t notice until u mentioned it. Same VA?
And at 30:25 you can hear male Hawke (Nicholas Boulton). :)

And he reminds me of Anders...
Haweky kisses girl

"you planning to steal the baron's prized thrantas?"
"what? we got room on the ship" Kaliyo is so funny.
11:54 I can just imagine him saying 'Fly my pretties! Fly! Fly! Hahahaha!'
omg yes!
I knew I wasn't the only one

Vector is actually quite sweet and does not push too much.
Vector is just a human with black eyes, can talk to bugs, and says: we, instead of I.
20:33 to 20:42 - when you're high af & eat your favourite munchies.
HAHAHAHAHAHA-
With the exception of Aric Jorgan, Vector has the cutest Female Character to Companion romance. He's just so adorable.
What qvour the female smuggler
I never really liked insects, but theres a first for everything ^^
Isn't that FemHawke's voice?
I'm not sure whether this guy is more cute or unnerving…
gotta admit though his eyes are pretty nice
Stealthyhunter When they're his natural eyes anyway. The black killik eyes are kind of creepy.
Lt. Basil
yeah.
Anyone else here Dorian Pavus when Denri Ayl speaks? Dorian is one of my top favorites from DA3. That’s Dorian, it has to be!
Bioware Y U NO MAKE WATCHER 2 A COMPANION!?
IKR?
I don't know if I could get past the "I have bug ambassadors under my skin" bit.
my buggy boyy aww
I have to say, I like the way you made your IA!
WorkGalaxy47 use body #1, Asian face of choice and hair #2 and complexion of choice. I used purplish blue skin and dark blue hair. I love my IA. Chiss rule.
Female chiss scare me for some reason.
Vector may be my favourite companion, but I couldn't build enough balls to romance him. Felt wrong to me
Why would you not want to know the details about the bug milk
I let him to take the house as a hive.
NEVER BETRAY THE EMPIRE
Yep
Did I just hear male Hawke talking to female Hawke??
Where
I love vector he is one of my top 5 romance options❤❤. His eyes remained me of Thane Krios.
He has Thane's eyes and (kinda) Legion's personality ( _we_ are Legion for _we_ are one). Love him!
I am really sad because male Agents can't flirt with him, I really want to, but the game doesn't allow me to. T_T
Am i the only one that notices his package.. .___.
No, his package is huge for mating
Yeah no sane person would give up their free will.
Teah some people do. If you get what I mean
I always enjoy watching your romance compilation vidoes. Though, I am curious, do you prefer any particular romances in The Old Republic?
I wish there's a special loyalty mission....where we can force falner into what he hates most
Turning him into a joiner
I wish that too but don't think Victor would like forcing him

Yeah, in a way. But Garnet and other fusions say "I", "me", and so forth. But here, he speaks for both himself and the hive, so it's "we" and "us".
I just started with my IA and was going to hook her up with Lana. But now..... sorry, Lana lol.
Me: *plans to romance Theron Shan, makes Imp Agent specifically for it, stumbles on these videos, lobs plan out window*
did any one else notice the face at 4:02 ?
So you can romance him even if you don't make House Cortess into a kilik hive? Phew. xD
Like his character. Sad he cant be romanced by male agente, cause I defenetly would.
Right I would love to romance him with my male agente

Sasoriscarecrow
It works but in my case you will need to equip vector with moddable armor ( He uses willpower)
Give enough time to get used to it and it works fine. I have a marauder + Jaesa and I find it a lot easier than when I had Quinn.
fluffyninjaLlama how do you do the flirts and the romance.can you tell me
What sub class is your agent? Is it a sniper or a operator?
This is a Great Story of testing the loyalty of one from family to love one on 14:00
I don't think I could ever fall for him, but he is very handsome. XD
So I just finished the Eradicators quest but didn't get that dialogue and the flirting option :((( do you need max affection? I only have like 1/4 and it's hard (?) to get my hands on gifts... T_T

at 12:22 the lady's coat starts clipping. :D
39:58 Awww! ^^
Ok, who voices him? I'm hearing DS9's doctor (can't remember the name at the moment).
I think it's the guy who voices Anders from Dragon Age
And who's "WE"
Eh im not one for dimplomacy im more of an agressive negotiator
what clas are you sniper or op????
Did he just slap her then kill her ? 0o
Haha, Hawke...
Aww :-)
hahaha i was just about to say that
She's the closest to my Operative. My agent is a slim built Chiss female with a short cut dark blue hair and a delicate Asian featured face.
