dude!!!!!!! seriously the best video!!!! great video. I love that yarder. even had a Clark 666 in the backgroud! I want a little yarder like this so bad!!! I hope you make a lot more videos like this!!! great job bud.
That's a cool yarder Alex I've never seen one like that . I've only been around the ones with a cab , like I've seen you running before.. Cool video bud be safe , Joe
it is suprising but they are design to yard small stem or bucked wood and use a support and lift tree if you can keep most of the off off the ground it will pull a heck of a lot of wood
You were searching for "gear ratio" with the skyline. Little pulley moves much faster. Big pulley moves slower for those who don't know. What an active operation that is! How many miles of footwork does a person do in a day? Keeps you in shape.
Torsee, you are right with the term Ratio. However I believe the drums are being run at the same speed and on the same shaft. The smaller drum moves fewer linear feet of line per revolution. Therefore it mimics a lower gear selection without having to have complex equipment to change shaft speed. Alex, feel free to correct me if I'm seeing this wrong. Torsee, it is a neat little unit and as you said... Active Operation! Be Blessed!
Those are cool little yarders, not real fast (line speed or for ease of operation) but for what they are they do it well. That kid with you probably ought to have more time before he goes to runn' that or he's gonna lose a finger.
Oldie but goodie as long as it works and does the job is all that counts. Looks like it was well taken care of for its age. What year is it just wondering. Keep up the great video's

Never mind I answered my own question. Seen the cylinder....... duh. Lol
Muddawg Komm ya there is a hydraulic cylinder I got some more video coming that shows more

you know even if it had a 3 speed and reverse it would be great specially with it having 4 guylines but could always use just a touch more GET SOME
