When I was a kid my dad used to take me to the local airport. There was a guy a few hangars down who kept his twin turbo Supra in his hangar with his airplane. Sometime he would be there too and I'd get and he would offer me a ride in the plane or the Supra.
Not clean enough for me. Like my interiors and exterior stock. I admire the build though but you can slam that kind of power in almost any car if you got enough money. But still a big fan of the M and the JZ.
I wish i met people like this. I will one-day, I won’t give in. I’m homeless looking at supra videos and getting kicked out the libraries and stuff but trust me one day I will rejoice. One day man. This made my day i’m literally tearing up rn. One love!

got both. my 40 mile daily commute will forever be free of fuel costs & the 200+ miles I always end up driving on the weekends in my fun car will for ever have boost.
plus I love putting smiles on peoples faces if their car is faster than a tesla on my normally boring highway commute. Sometimes if someone is close to being faster but isnt quite there, ill let out a little bit and let them have it so they can brag to their friends about smoking a tesla lmao its all good vibes all around, i get both sides of the argument with them, but there is nothing more fun than a forced induction car & I doubt we will ever see a time where EVs take over completely.
For the same reason, i want manual transmission exist forever for certain car. I'm not against automatic, but it would feel that something is missing...

Aquarium_impreza_joey I checked it out on the web and I have to say that it will not be a Supra. The new Supra should have came out with say maybe a 3JZ or a 4JZ with a manual transmission, twin turbos and have at least 800-1000hp. Not the so called BMW hybrid that it will be.

How anyone could dump all that effort into such an awful looking car is beyond comprehension. The guy is a master at at this, to be sure. The engine is a work of art. Much respect to the people that made that happen. But to use that body? Such a travesty. Definitely one of the lamest looking cars Toyota has ever put out. I'm not hating because I do like this car... but a cardboard box from 1950 with 1500hp vs any 400hp car is going to beat it. No question. Personally I wouldnt own a car like that. If its Japanese ide probably prefer a Nissan s14 or s14 with beefy tires, concave wheels, low stance, no emblems, big open grill mouth. Dont care if it's slow or fast
He's not making full power in 1st and 2nd, not even close. Even much smaller turbos don't come onto full boost that early, let alone a turbo large enough to support 1,500+ whp.
Robert Jacobson most people are not supra haters but the supra fanboy haters. Like Glock fanboys, supra fanboys can’t admit any other car is good looking or fast or better on a track. To them, supra is the only car anyone should have. Thats why people dislike. Remember during the 10 year production they made 230-320hp and were not great sports cars, people really invest a lot of money to make them better.

How anyone could dump all that effort into such an awful looking car is beyond comprehension. The guy is a master at at this, to be sure. The engine is a work of art. Much respect to the people that made that happen. But to use that body? Such a travesty. Definitely one of the lamest looking cars Toyota has ever put out. People with these skills should work on kit cars. Then they start with the shape they want and still have a great car after its done.

I'm not hating because I do like this car... but a cardboard box from 1950 with 1500hp vs any 400hp car is going to beat it. No question.
Personally I wouldnt own a car like that. If its Japanese ide probably prefer a Nissan s14 or s14 with beefy tires, concave wheels, low stance, no emblems, big open grill mouth. Dont care if it's slow or fast

He's not making full power in 1st and 2nd, not even close. Even much smaller turbos don't come onto full boost that early, let alone a turbo large enough to support 1,500+ whp.

Robert Jacobson most people are not supra haters but the supra fanboy haters. Like Glock fanboys, supra fanboys can’t admit any other car is good looking or fast or better on a track. To them, supra is the only car anyone should have. Thats why people dislike. Remember during the 10 year production they made 230-320hp and were not great sports cars, people really invest a lot of money to make them better.
