Tales of Symphonia Exploring the Test Maps and Debug Options

A couple years ago an advance debug copy of the game was discovered and uploaded, that's what I'm exploring in the video. The test maps are also present (though hidden) in the release version of the game. However, the debug menu (the text that shows up when I press start and lets me cycle through the maps) can only be accessed in this version. Sorry if this is a bit boring, feel free to set the speed higher. I've had a few questions on the test maps and what the debug capabilities are so I try to show all the options.

Wow, this is crazy. I absolutely love Symphonia, so seeing all of this is pretty amazing, especially after all these years. Seeing all the models working is cool as well. I just wish there were mods for the game, like model swaps and new spells lol. I'd love to play as Yuan and Mithos

I have a question how do you enter the debug level or map to do these stuff and I think you can only do this on the gamecube version. This looks really fun but sadly I don't have the game anymore and I don't have the rom either. Love your symphonia videos by the way

Thank you!! I use the Dolphin emulator. The rom is a copy of the debug disc that someone uncovered a couple years ago. My friends recently found the debug rooms (even more than I have!) in the steam version though!
