I was northern CA mod from like '85- '90, I had yer album and absolutely loved it. I became the drummer for the Birminghams. Your drummer Dave met up with me after a New Sounds of the 60's show we played in SD, it was an absolute pleasure to meet him and chit chat. As i recall he helped me grab my kit and we walked passed these gals with lots of make up on, later he mentioned they were the Bangles. And while that was interesting, truth be told, I was much more interested to be hanging with the drummer from the Tell Tale Hearts.
Sounds similar to the Animals when they were singing, I'm Crying. They certainly had the sound even though the song differs. If I mentioned the Animals seems that Eric Burdon and the Boys were an influence on this group.
are you telling me i'm sitting on albums that i havent listened to in at least 15 years that i cant afford to keep? my vacation plans are looking a little better, i mean i like them , and i even know them, but did i miss the thing where these records got as collectible as the ones they were influenced by? i may have to think about some ebay action ..
Yea - One of the select few bands of this genre that wrote highly compelling original material. Outstanding.
A staple on my WMUH college radio show Buried Alive in the 80s. Snarly, rocking music!
Raw savage.Great rockanroll.San Diego Fire.🔥🌵👽
I was mid 80s Mod in West-Berlin and still own this record and listen to it now and then. That was my youth! ❤
I loved this band so much in the 80's. I wish I still had this vinyl!

So, when and where was the last gig for the band..?
Here because of Edgar Allan Poe

I bet a year and a half earlier, the lead singer was in an Allman Brothers cover band...
