His son was almost divinely guided to remind Cat of the gift he was given from birth from the Alpha and Omega. And that gift is a healing veil that covers so much of us. How important is it especially during these last years (a Covid year and now going on to two)- to hear these songs to remind us of who we are. Plus a new album - new inspiration! Thank you for the healing. Thank you for the reminder. Thank God for you Cat Stevens with part Greek blood and who you are now called Yusuf - Joseph - an important and blessed name to have. May the Peace Man - who we need more of - be blessed forever. Sending sincere love your way Peace Soul Man.
i admire this man a lot. knowing he got in touch with his religion after spending a lot of time suffering at the hospital, just like i did, gives me a lot of strength. his song "the rain" is very comforting to me for various reasons because to know that such a great person thinks about the same things as me, who is a child compared to him both in terms of age and wisdom, has the same questions as me, eases my worries. i feel very grateful that i can listen to his music and gain strength from it.
He wrote songs that will go on forever and whenever we hear them we remember how his songs helped us at times in our lives, and we realise these songs of his are helping us to connect with ourselves again. You can't get any better than that although this man is most likely going to get better and better.. His singing voice and who he is as a person speaks volumes.
