While this is impressive you do have to view it in context: What you see in the video is pregenerated terrain. It takes several hours to generate a map of a decent size. It also takes a long time to generate the LODs. This video probably required hours of preparation. I tried it myself and a map of 40000x40000 blocks took me a whole weekend to generate on a very good server. That is unfortunately not something they can ask the average player to do. Plus, pregenerating a map increases it's world size by a lot and makes it harder to update the game since no new structures and biomes can generate in an area that is pregenerated. Finally, both Distant Horizons and Reterraforged are in very early versions. DH does not have proper official multiplayer support yet. Reterraforged needs a lot of work and updates may not be backwards compatible, meaning you may have weird behaviour in areas where old generation intersects with new generation. So even the modded version of this will take a lot more time to actually be viable to use. This being part of the main game may happen at some point, but not anywhere in the near future.
Do the same but with dungeon mod and mod that improve village size and a lot of mod that add random structure Wish to see a huge castle far away, a cool village here and here, thing like that
Just a suggestion, maybe you can make other type of video without the elytra flying parts? I think it'd be better for people with motion sickness like me who just want to enjoy calming scenery lol. Great videos btw!
I don't know if it's compatable, but have you considered doing a cinematic of the old LTOR mod? It might be interesting to see the elven forests, the wastelands of mordor, or even the Misty Mountains
Can you do a video like this showcasing the fantastical terrain of the Ecospherical Expansion mod? Or maybe Biospherical, which is another mod installed on top of Ecospherical.
Modders: I can make a mod in a 1 - 5 months. Microsoft: I can make an update with only a couple of things in a whole year maybe delay some things in the update

I keep doing research and cant find anything about it other than it doesnt exist but regular terraforged does exist but stopped getting updates at like 1.18? Also cant figure out where to get distant horizons either? Thought i found it and downloaded it but it def wasnt it lol. Someone give tutorials man im tryna play this
it’s in alpha it was on their dc, but they removed it from the public again, because their were so many people complaining about bugs even though it is in ALPHA
