So The detectives were pinning Mike because of the evidence, high interest on Von and the commotion going on with Wooski. He could’ve kept silent while risking facing murder 1 or plead self defense with von and get a lighter sentence for both of them. Under alot of pressure he told the self defense story that involved Von, but then recanted. the witness who was going to testify on Mike died, and Von got out, Mike stayed in because he confirmed his attendance at the crime. Basically if Mike never said anything, the witness still died, they wouldve both got out. Thats why Von said “he rather talk than listen”. Am i missing anything?

Bro you need to read up on the case, they had witnesses, matched the shells with the firearms and all sorts. Von was already in custody and had a LONG rap sheet of stuff they were trying to pin to him, Mike got hauled in some months after the event really because they were trying to get Von.
