I think when they say "beauty" here, part of it is a bad translation. They often hint at her also being a "pure" individual and such, so I think it's implied she's also just generally very nice to be around to begin with. There's a lot of things here they could've explained better.
Wasn't there a version where Kaguyahime gave the old couple a youth potion or something similar? I believe that they didn't want to use it and threw it into a fire - the potion burned and the smoke of it rose high into the sky. Well, I could be wrong, I haven't read the story in a long time.
She gave a potion to the mikado. It was an immortality potion but he didn't want to live in a world where she didnt exist and burned it on a high mountain (mountain fuji which took its name from the name of the potion)
And that version of the fairytale became the biggest animated loser at the 2014 Academy Awards which is pretty significant as the film became Isao Takahata's final film.

She's so adorable.
Falling in love with her because of her beauty. That is sooooo shallow.

I feel like this is the tale that Princess Kaguya was taken from...
This is the tale of Princess Kaguya. They put the wrong English title. I think they should change to the common original name.
Because it is
They use a very literal translation for a lot of these. Such as momotarou being "peach boy"
This is actually an interesting story haha
