This was one of the best, if not the best interview I've ever seen with Mr. Rich. He is a living memory for hundreds of iconic stars and you brought out his whole life arc. Forgot to mention his albums. ❤ Rich Little on Broadway was my favorite.
I loved this man when I was a kid and still do I have so much admiration and respect for him, He is last of the old school entertainers I could sit down for hours and listen to him. No ego just a true down to earth guy .
I had no idea Rich Little was still around and actively working in Vegas. That is wonderful! He looks and sounds great. He used to be on TV all the time. I love all of his impersonations. You took the words right out of my mouth. He IS a national treasure! By the way, Jimmy Stewart's home town is Indiana, Pa. There's a little museum there in his honor and a statue out front. You can see his dad's hardware store down the street. Sorry I didn't hear the crosswalk voice, if that was still around.
Oh, and he is hilarious when he does Johnny Carson with all of his many idiosyncrasies, which in itself, absolutely kills me. He even did Johnny playing Tennis straight backed, which was also hilarious and a laugh riot !!! I swear we were all dying (or dieing, not sure of proper spelling) And that was hilarious as well too !!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE everything he does!!!! Rich is a Treasure to behold !!!!❤
Amazing Rich little is the reason I watch Dean Martin celebrity roast he has outlived everybody he talks about I laughed so hard I’m at the kitchen table dying laughing the best way to start my day Thank You.
I think Richs' impression of Nixon is the funniest, and I saw him on Johnny Carson's T.V. Show, and he did Nixon's Walk, and it was hilarious! Watching him Clump Along Hunched Back, just funny as all get out, it was truly Wild, and I laughed like hell !!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I TRULY LOVE ❤ RICH !!
When he said your a great audience I really got a kick out of it because you seemed to genuinely enjoy talking to him. And then at the very end I believe he said that was fun. To hear that must have made you feel very proud.
James, you are very intuitive. I was honored to talk to Rich, always was a fan. When I heard him say that was fun it really meant so much to me. I feel very fortunate when a moment like that happens.
Watching Rich I haven’t laughed this hard in years. Literally had me in tears especially doing John Wayne while getting US citizenship. And all those funny stories with the Hollywood legends.
This was one of my personal favorite interviews and as you can tell it was a laugh fest for me as well. What an incredible talent. Glad you experienced the same amount of laughter I did😂
Thanks for rewatching, I agree though, this is an episode you can rewatch anytime to be entertained by all of Rich's impressions. The man is really a one of a kind talent.
Wonderful interview so interesting . I was surprised Rich Little didn’t speak much about Don Rickles . Love the channel and I’m watching from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
Love Oz, Brisbane, Byron Bay😀The interview with Rich was one of my favorites. Probably just didn’t talk about Don Rickles a lot just because there was so much to talk about😀
I, like you, remember seeing Rich Little all over the television set. This is yet another thing which reminds me of how old I am. (But, this one in a good way.) I remember all the names of years gone by which both of you mentioned. And to hear Rich still giving voice to these people is comforting beyond words! At the same time, my sides were splitting from laughing so hard. Thanks for such an enjoyable interview with “The Man of a Thousand Voices”! I only regret that it took me so long to find it.
So glad you found my interview with Rich! I was busting a gut interviewing him and love bringing back all those memories. Hope you get a chance to see some of my other interviews as well😀
Wow, Mr. Little is a human encyclopedia of old school showbiz! Love it!! I grew up with all those fantastic variety shows that he would be on, such a magical time. Mr. Little and his incredible talent has brought us all so much joy. He seems to be a humble, grateful, nice man. Another AMAZING interview!
Thank you Alan. Talking to Rich Little was a personal favorite of mine, he is an exceptional talent and truly loves performing. It really keeps him going and he is still amazing to see. I laughed so hard interviewing him.
Without a doubt Steve. While I was interviewing them, so many memories came back to me as well. Please subscribe if you haven't already so you are notified when my next episode is published. Some great ones are on the way.
Thank you so much David. Really appreciate your support. I am sure you already subscribe but if not please do:) A little insider info. I am actually getting ready to interview Michael Learned, the mom from THE WALTONS in next couple hours so your comment brought me a smile going into it.
It would really be something to see Rich Little and John Byner together doing a routine. I would have to think that between them, they could impersonate everyone.
Leola, now that is one I never knew. Very cool especially with Pete Duel! If you haven’t already please subscribe to my channel, more great interviews coming!
Hi, John! I'm from Indiana, and unfortunately we can't claim Jimmy Stewart as a fellow Hoosier. He's actually from a small town called Indiana, Pennsylvania. His dad ran a hardware store there, and I believe Jimmy let him display his Oscar for "The Philadelphia Story" in the store.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY THE GREATEST MOMENT WHEN RONALD REAGAN TOLD MR.GORBACHOF TEAR DOWN THESE WALLS IN TRUMAN CAPOTE'S VOICE CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT.
@@ThatsClassicTVBefore Rich mentioned that those were actually his sketches, I honestly thought those were photographs. That’s how good they are. “The Man of a Thousand Voices” turns out to also be “The Man of a Thousand Faces”. Truly multitalented!

I first saw him on dean martin roasts but he was far more then that.. his career arc reminds me a bit of john byner who is also still kicking
That is interesting about John Byner.
It would really be something to see Rich Little and John Byner together doing a routine. I would have to think that between them, they could impersonate everyone.
Rich what was also on the TV show "Love on a rooftop" with actor Pete duel. In the 60's it was a short-lived TV show
