Hey guys, hello from 🇨🇭 Switzerland! If you are really interested in going deeper into the Jinjer rabbit hole, then I have a little help for you here with all the links in certain years & albums! This "first reaction" typical Jinjer song that many people see first was actually 8 years ago, in 2016 and is basically right in the middle of the whole thing! I saw the band Jinjer live for the first time in 2012 with singer Tatjana! On the guitar is Roman, who joined the band together with Tati in 2011, in which she was actually only supposed to help out as a singer to the actual singer... Well, things turned out a little differently than expected and planned! Then in 2012 Eugene joined as bassist! There was some rotation among the drummers, here in Pisces is Vladislav "Vlad" who joined in 2016, also as an interim solution for the time being, because he was the guitarist in his band at the time, could also be a professional bassist, or professional guitarist, or even that an above-average, mega-talented drummer! But he has had many years of comprehensive training in classical music and has completed training as a professional classical concert pianist at the Conservatory for Classical Music in Ukraine!!! Not bad....And since 2016 he has been their full-time drummer and the musical genius together with Eugene and Roman in composing their extraordinary Metelcore mix genres and a lot of other things that are atypical, but which make them so great as a whole band with talented people musicians! You urgently need to experience and listen to it online, live and listen to the possibilities after all this.... Tatjana is a force live and vocally for me the absolute unicorn in the heavy metal genre 🦄 out of all the other good ladies as front women, in the studio and on the internet They all sound great and good! At 15 she heard Otep, had the reaction everyone has to her, figured it would be easy to do and tried it - and she sucked and hated it so she spent 5 years building her skills until the band before Jinjer called Prophecy. She's in her late 30s now and has been growling for over half her life, with both her cleans and growls getting stronger every year. Subbed. Cheers!

(though, many seem to be partial to Who Is Gonna Be The One ... which, incidentally, also has the most Gwen-like moment). Tatiana heard bands like Otep use that vocal technique and she wanted to learn it. Luckily she managed to learn it correctly. While growing up in Eastern Ukraine she went outside with a friend by the side of a road and screamed at cars going by. She's been doing it for about 15 years at this point. Good songs I think you would like would include Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019, Judgement and Punishment One Take Vocal, Pit of Consciousness Live in Kyiv.

Stay on the Jinjer train - the talent is crazy and the music is creative. When you watch a Jinjer video, there is a "recommended" video towards the end - Call Me A Symbol - that is an "advanced watch" - great video and song, but definitely a thrasher! Quite different than Pisces.
Considering you both like this song you deffenitely has to check out more Jinjer (and more, and more...) They have long catalogue of great songs (couple of dozens bangers and another few dozens of solid tracks) and this one is far from their best. Aside Jinjer there're few songs (up to 10 I guess) where the singer Tatiana made collaboration with another bands and musicians. Some of them are just awesome as well.
Teacher teacher is also an amazing song! They are sick beyond this surprise, bass and drums are always amazing beyond Tatiana being an angel and demon in same body. Also Tatiana using vocal techniques to have that growls, if she strained her vocals and didn't have the correct technique, she couldn't keep doing that.
"Who is gonna be the one" must be next. You need more Jinjer!!!!!!!

The order compiled here is not 100% arranged like the album playlist, because sometimes there are no music videos, or they are not good enough quality for me to list here! I started adding to the list, step by step a few years ago with the available songs, qualities and release dates. I'll probably add to the list next year, i.e. more likely at the end / autumn of 2024 when Jinjer starts in the studio with the planned new album!

At 15 she heard Otep, had the reaction everyone has to her, figured it would be easy to do and tried it - and she sucked and hated it so she spent 5 years building her skills until the band before Jinjer called Prophecy. She's in her late 30s now and has been growling for over half her life, with both her cleans and growls getting stronger every year. Subbed. Cheers!

for me personally, the most "listenable" harshes is Just Another. (though, many seem to be partial to Who Is Gonna Be The One ... which, incidentally, also has the most Gwen-like moment).

Tatiana heard bands like Otep use that vocal technique and she wanted to learn it. Luckily she managed to learn it correctly. While growing up in Eastern Ukraine she went outside with a friend by the side of a road and screamed at cars going by. She's been doing it for about 15 years at this point.
Good songs I think you would like would include Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019, Judgement and Punishment One Take Vocal, Pit of Consciousness Live in Kyiv.

Tatiana Shmayluk. She’s a Pisces. It’s about swimming upstream looking for light and love only to be caught and killed by handsome butchers. When the war in Ukraine started, their home, they all volunteered. They were told to continue touring and support the cause. Should have kept her. She would have won a few battles just by scaring the hell out of the enemy. Tatiana is a berserker. Floor Jansen with Nightwish is a Valkyrie. Maria Franz with Heilung is a sorceress/priestess. Aurora is a serious/fun quirky forest fairy angel.

Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces ever. Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business.

Stay on the Jinjer train - the talent is crazy and the music is creative.
When you watch a Jinjer video, there is a "recommended" video towards the end - Call Me A Symbol - that is an "advanced watch" - great video and song, but definitely a thrasher! Quite different than Pisces.

They have long catalogue of great songs (couple of dozens bangers and another few dozens of solid tracks) and this one is far from their best.
Aside Jinjer there're few songs (up to 10 I guess) where the singer Tatiana made collaboration with another bands and musicians. Some of them are just awesome as well.

Teacher teacher is also an amazing song! They are sick beyond this surprise, bass and drums are always amazing beyond Tatiana being an angel and demon in same body. Also Tatiana using vocal techniques to have that growls, if she strained her vocals and didn't have the correct technique, she couldn't keep doing that.
