This is nothing but a cash grab cooked up by the Louboutin marketing team. I assume it's private label makeup they just slapped their name on. And the audacity to charge for the case separately!! I honestly feel like this launch is a giant cash grab. The company knows that diehard fans will pay these ridiculous prices for the name alone. For those prices, the shadows should blend themselves and the blushes should glide like air across the cheeks. I can see $78 for the component WITH the shadows but $156 is absolutely asinine! Just my opinion. As always, I appreciate your honesty, transparency, and thoroughness. I hope you are able to decide whether or not to keep the products or get your $ back. If I have to work at it, it is a no go for me. I don't have the patience for it. That is one of the main reasons I could never do drug store makeup, even in high school. I tried it and thought, you have got to be kidding...that said...women that it works for ....great, you can save a little money. Such a shame. This is why I typically don’t spend more than $50 on a palette. I can remember being completely WOWed by a palette once... I had zero expectations even though I’d heard good things about the brand. I bought it on a whim & was truly shocked at the high quality! I spent $7 on it, It was on sale, $10 reg price. Juvia’s Place is the brand, which I think is considered a drug store brand? Regardless, it’s (unfortunately) a rare occurrence for me to be truly impressed with makeup releases these days 😐

Yes, I absolutely love the Dior shadow I'm wearing. It's mostly shimmer so if you're not into that then I'd pass. But I really love it. Mitzah and Nude Dress are fabulous palettes as well.

It’s so unfortunate that you dislike both palettes. Some positive reviews on YT involve PR, so those are difficult to “trust.” I saw one try-on video that resulted in a genuine positive review - it featured the Rouge follies eyeshadow palette and the So Pink blush/highlighter palette (in which one of the blushes is matte). When I see luxurious, ornate and original packaging, I anticipate that there has been more investment in packaging than in product development and testing - so I am waiting for the dust to settle and to see how many of the YT reviewers will still be using the eyeshadows and/or blushes in the next 3-4 weeks on videos featuring new foundation/mascara/bronzer (etc.) or on GRWM, shop my stash, Will I buy it? (etc.) Thanks again for investing in these and helping your viewers avoid disappointment.
