- Hey guys, I had an idea and did an experiment with my SilverFire Survivor rocket stove. This will be a new addition to my outdoor kitchen. I will keep you all posted on the progress. Thanks for watching, and God bless.

I can not believe I have been watching your videos this long!!! LOL. I originally started watching your channel because I thought my husband would enjoy your vids. But.... I ended up liking them instead... Now he is finally catching up! ;)
Cool John, All this time I thought that was a microwave lol and was waiting for it to start melting lol Dummy me :-)
You could surround it with brick for heat retention. I would like to see you use a pressure canner with your rocket stove. I wonder how durable the stove is if you start using it for baking, canning, etc.
NIce. Make use of recycled supplies. If you had a cast iron dutch oven and covered it you could not only bake but would also be able to do so with less fuel in the rocket stove. Those dutch ovens get mighty hot and retain heat for hours, I'm sure you know already. You could cook a stew and bake a peach cobbler with the retained heat! I love to cook outdoors and I see that you do too! Thanks for all of your videos. They're so interesting. Can't wait to see you cooking some deer!
whats that an ol micro oven. man ur ruffer than me...an im ruff...ha...luv it...
Now this is a great idea, I just happen to have a couple of old toaster ovens around and I'll be giving this a try !!!
Awesome!!! And you know what? when you smile and give a thumbs up, you should add a sound effect that goes "BING"
wasnt that an elec oven u was burning under?
so is it all metal the stove, mine has plastic handle and sides
I like it! Being able to bake is a issue not commonly enough addressed. If the power goes out and your making pizza and bread and cinnamon rolls that is some serious comfort food. A outdoor pizza party would go a lonnnng way to comforting kids and relieving the stress. Nice job!
always thinkin...!
cool setup bro
I like it!
Nice!
It's insanity I tell you, Insanity! Next thing you know there'll be a cast iron attachment.
Fantastic idea...I just bought a Coleman camp stove for $30.00 and it folds up for easy storage. Love your vids thanks
Who is the maker of the oven, some brands are plastic or have plastic parts in them, just wondering if you have the time to answer, know how busy you are, thanks John for sharing and God Bless!
Great idea!
That cool.
Excellent idea!!! Good thinkin', Uncle John! *wag, wag, wag...*
Hey John, looks good bro.thank you take care my friend
Hi there, I grabbed an electric oven from the dump and took it apart and saved the firebox for this very idea. I plan on mounting a J-tube set up underneath and coating it with refractory cement I have a recipe for.
Very cool great ideal
Great video. Fast oven option for emergency situations. Sorry to be a worry wort. But your stove or new BARBA QUE will be 50 yards away from all that hay. Hay is expensive.
Love.
Hey Dude,I wanted to share this with you. You have shared to much with me ok Rat killer I bet you have a lot of them with all the animal food you have. bybeekeeper uncooked rolled oats mixed with Hot mix ... It killes them fast.
Bless you n your earth- friendly ideas. Elderly ppl in the neighborhood...do alot better, healthwise, with folks like you around! I see zero emissions😃 or darn near zero!
I kept wondering what the stove was for. That's brilliant!
You truly inspire me and others with your ingenuity! Thanks
You never cease to amaze me, John! Thumbs Up!!
Colman makes a camp oven and it’s $35.00 on amazon right now. I just found out about it today and I’m going to order one
this was a great experiment- and me thinks your are onto sumthin here- cant wait to bake some biscuits in that- huggs...
great idea, I wonder if it is as easy to regulate the heat by putting a frying pan on the top of the stove.
to regulate the heat ,just slightly open the oven door , that's what i do with my make shift egg incubator, great idea , i will be trying this soon
This is interesting. I like to use dutch ovens. You can bake bread in them or braise roast in them.
PUT SOME firebrick or regular brick around it
good idea....with a wee bit of tweeting like you said, it will be great !!!
Awesome bro... great idea.
You can't beat free fuel John, rock on brother.
cute I like the idea once you mortar the bricks to content the heat you may need a damper to not allow it to get too hot not putting in the wood is good but a think piece of metal on top of the survivor may help ... go a head a bake some bread and see
Do you have any videos on baking in this oven? Would love to see something being baked.
Now you got that dialed in !
Hey no food? Now you must bake something lol awesome idea.
Where there is a will there is a way, Nice Job!
Nice set up John!
Perfect idea J. Really cool. :-)
Damn sweet little set up man lol.

Are u going to make muffins haha
Awesome stove I've got one
now that is interesting thses counter top toaster oven has alot of plastic stuff you would to remove most or all the plastic good idea yr on to something there i do bake my bread in summer time on 4 burner BBQ using indirect heat,,using wood is sure great idea using toaster oven using the bigger size one please post more videos on this thanks Diane
Very inventive. Is any part of the bottom open? Any holes?
