This video helped me through a couple spots i was stuck. Thank you. My only complaint about the game is that they left baby goats with them still being angry.
Honestly, my heart broke when the white goat fell, and then it broke again when the second wolf cub fell. In my opinion the ending is bittersweet but its a good fun game. (I DEMAND A SEQUEL!)
This was such a neat game!! The friendship of the fawn and the wolf is so cute, and it sort of reminds me of Shelter 2: Paws :]
I think the name for a wolf child is wolfkin and yeah this game does a very good job with blending the environment and music together with a really wholesome story.
This final is sad. So, friendship is beauty.
Holy shit, this game is beautiful. I love this so much! The art style is interesting, the music is so sweet, and the animals are just SO ADORABLE!! I’ve been wanting to get this game ever since it came out, but I’ve been unable to. But now I can see it! Thank you so much for this. 💙
The push/pull at 1:04:30 HOW DID U GET IT OPEN???? We’ve been pushing and pulling it for like 5 mins and nothing!
Goats. Always with the goats.
@@chrisbg99 update: the black goat was stuck (:
@@mollyanna3881 I have played it with a friend, and I passed the level, you just have to show the white goat to help by helping the black tiny wolf.
I have been curious about this game for a while. Most indie games are always fun to play and just enjoy so can't wait to see how this one goes.
Games 2h and $20 Canadian. That's $10/h. It's overpriced, should be like $5, and it has framerate issues on Switch.
But the game itself was really fun with my 9yo son
Ok the creator can charge u for 10 hour of 💩 garbage. If u value time over art. 💀
Really for only 2 hours that’s crazy I hate how the US has so much cheaper games
it was even more expensive in australia ($22.95) and AUD$ and CAD$ are at parity...
What would you say should be a good price for this game? Just curious.
I want Blanc 2 happen!
Agreed
It just came out..
@@cannedseagullz your point?
Hope so that this game receives enough endorsement and support for that.
@@andrewendres4421 that ppl should enjoy the game? For what it is?
It is something to see see a wolf and fawn working together to be reunited with their families. But it's still an interesting game
Would you recommend it on Switch or pc?? :c
It's better in PC
@@stevenzm9556 Thanks!
Good Gameplay
I was always curious why the little wolf goes the wrong direction
1:10:38. Where did the pipe come from for the black goat to go across?
I'm having the same issue, it's just not there.
Hmmmm it looks nice but 15€ for 2 hours of gameplay...idk about that i think i wait for a discount tbh
Sounds like you think portal 1 is overpriced
@@andrewendres4421 lmao you can spend wayyy more time in that game and it's half that price
@@klaus.sfc01official30 I thought it was $60 and had a 2 hour play time sorry
@@andrewendres4421 lmao you are mistaking that with Fifa lol
@@klaus.sfc01official30 what’s fifa
The part with the plank isnt working and this is so infuriating. The baby goat wont jump on the plank with the others!! Wtf??
I have a good name for the wolf and the deer.
What is that name?
@@truthhopelove The black wolf's name is Pierre and the white deer's name is Sophie. The Dream Warriors of Snow.
@@richardwienke7546 hm ok
I have the game and I called them snow and void
@@gabrielecasini489 What gave you the idea for those two names?
Alright so I have A Lot to say about the game, from appraisal to some criticism that I have.
[🌟= Topic, #️⃣= Subpart]
🌟 First and foremost, the environment, music, story and background sounds work Very well together. They're well put and not very exaggerated. The cinematics at certain places look very good but these cinematics kinda makes traversing a bit annoying because the camera doesn't look where you need it to look. Also, the game is way too short-but it does have quite a lot of symbolism in certain moments.
🌟 Now Story, the story is very clear. A wolfkin and fawn were separated from her groups and are trying to find them by working together.
#️⃣ I personally think that the story was done almost perfectly. At first they were helping each other without knowing that they are because they were getting rid of obstacles in their own way which was helping the other. Then they start going out of their way to help each other. Being kins, they obviously depend upon their parents and adults more but since there is an absence of that-they are depending upon each other. This is a very sweet and wholesome plot.
#️⃣ We also meet a few companions, _the Duck family, the two Goats and another group of fawn and wolfkin._ I want to talk about them one by one to show how good the symbolism has been done.
• *The Duck family:* The Mother Duck has to make sure that her ducklings can become self-independant but obviously being kins, the ducklings will always follow her mother. As a result, the mother duck lets them go through some resistances in which they have to work hard. This was probably not bearable by the wolfkin and fawn who miss their group, so they helped them. In the end, the mother obviously loves her children but has to make sure that they become tough-and that's the message imo.
• *The Goat duo:* This shows the more overdependancy characteristics in nature, the duo were very overdependant on the wolfkin and fawn-when they experienced fright and terror they immediately turned against them. This really plays with the concept of trust a lot, and is honestly well put. It kind also deals with friendship for the sake for your own benefit and feeling of betrayal, yet its not the other person's fault. Sometimes, you just have to acknowledge the situation and move on.
• *The Second group:* Deals with dependance but is more trusting because it's your same kind that is helping you. It's also why they didn't turn against us because they believe in us. Shows why animals of the same kind should always be in a group, and why two different kinds cannot exist together. That's just how nature is.
#️⃣ Now, I feel like the ending is a bit too cheezy or nice. To the point, I don't find it very realistic and is the only reason why I don't consider the story to be excellent but near perfect. At the end of the day, wolves are predators and deers are preys-in my opinion, it should shown that in the form of fear and untrust between our group of wolfkin and fawn at a later part. The fact is that both the deer group and wolf group were going the same way, ain't no way the wolves were not hunting them. There is a very distinct difference between Humans and animals, animals play by the rules of nature-Humans either break or bend them according to their own convenience. The natural role of the wolves and the deer should've been shown, and a very necessary concept should be established that _"Nature is never fair and it will always take it's toll upon all that can't bear it. You can't and shouldn't do anything to change the fate that nature provides with, because that's not your place and will only ruin the situation even more. Nature must go on, and you must never try to stop it from doing so"._ This is a bit dark, I know but I feel like this should be established in a game like this. The game is way too sweet to heart, imo.
🌟 I also just got to know that this game is a bit overpriced. The game is definitely really good but an overpriced game is an overpriced game, nothing can be defended about that. It's still a good experience though so I'm not too judgy about it on this topic xD.
Now of course, this is all my opinion. Yours might not match with mine and that is completely fine. If anyone wishes to share their experience or opinion on some of my takes, go ahead. I would definitely like to read how other people perceived this game.
Thank you if you've read this far and have a great day!
Wow, how much time did take write this?😅 In my opinion the game it's very beautiful, loved it
@@stevenzm9556 I believe this took me an hour xD. Anything for reviewing a game lol
There are some thing I would not agree with you but I have a counter argument to your last point OP: Yes Even though the pack and herd are natural enemies doesn’t mean they have to show it in the game. This game was likely made for younger aduances. Instead of reinforcing the traditional predator-prey dynamic in the game, an alternative perspective could be explored. Rather than depicting fear and mistrust between the wolfkin and fawn groups, the narrative could focus on the potential for cooperation and understanding. The game would not work if the fawn and wolf cub fought against each other. Its the reason why two player play as different animals, the wolf helps the deer and vice versa.
@@MusicalVoyager13 Yeah, I agree with you on that but I'm more going on the side that the "mistrust" is a certain portion in the game that continues till that part which is then continued by the "potential for cooperation" portion.
I don't think having an entire sadistic plot is nice lol, but I would love to see it be acknowledged in some way and then subverted.
Wuts so special about this
Looks like a thrown away A- school project just for having no colors. While a girl wanted a deer
Character but the dude instead wanted a fox
Character.
But the game card was stolen by a bully and put in the market for him to have all the money for himself.
Still not buying when I can just watch
I think it’s just not for you, me personally i like this art style. And it’s still art it’s like anything can be.
I view this game as a similar game called Journey. BLANC is more of an experience game than an actual game, simple storytelling relies on visuals, it’s basically a playable artwork. That’s how I feel about it at least.
It’s just a cute little indie game :D
Honestly no reason to trash on itttt, it just isn’t for you
I mean i get you but the character thingy is for the cuteness for two different playable characters and i think they tried being different with the art and graphics, and it's cool ig.. maybe it's not a high budget but if the story is good then it's alright for me
