they have very comfortable seats (the ones that still have a decent amount of padding in them that is) but some units where the air conditioning doesn't work get stuffy

Would you be able to do a video from Wrexham General for him please? We live in Wrexham and he'd love to see a video with your commentary in it lol
Sarah W Well thanks very much :) I'm glad to hear he enjoys my videos and commentary. I can certainly go filming at Wrexham. Once I have done the ECML and then a few other stations I will work my way over to you
If you get a chance could you do Mill Hill Broadway on the MML, only its where I live, it literally backs onto my house, and you get a lot of freight around here :)
There are now calls for the resignation of the entire arriva trains board over a police investigation into allegations that the board will not allow registered blind people to travel on the arriva trains network. The alledged incident happened in march 2017 and blind charities are pushing the government to remove the franchise with immediate effect." it is beyond beleif that any train franchise holder would consider not letting any passenger travel on the grounds of disability"...a statement from the minister of transport in the House of Commons has been demanded.
This is a story about the effects on everyday people the collapse of government services and the social breakdown which this country is going through. Clearly the government is collpasing and rolling back funding. The law expects the financial funding of these services to be born by the private sector. In this case the rail companies who are not prepared even though they have received a 2.2 % ticket rise to cover this. Instead of spending the money on training and adaption the shareholders pocket the money and often very disabled people are alledgely harrased on grounds of disability so the train companies can avaoid spending on their legal liabilities. The House of Lords review of this matter has started and the police have made it known that they require extra powers of enforcement against operating companies such as spot and suspended fines warning letters to directors and automated criminal sentances. The addition of annual reports must also state disability review by independent passenger review bodies. GWR are also in the spot light. The only way to deal with it, it is criminal sentances for directors.
Cool video. Some people say that 175s are uncomfortable, but I think that they're comfortable and pleasant.

Seeing the companies not around no more hit a spot in my heart, i lost touch with trains before covid, slowly picking back up now.

Well I certainly did not know that, find it surprising that something on that scale has not been shown in the news given the severity of the situation
