Wow! This actually worked! I picked up a used PSW110 for dirt cheap, but then discovered it had a constant clicking sound when powered on. I replaced the 3 47uf caps in that area shown in the video. 2 are 63V and then 1 smaller 50V one right next to it. I replaced them all with 63V 47uf Panasonics from Mouser Electronics. Search for Panasonic EEU-EB1J470SJ. The hardest part was identifying the leads on the under side of the PCB board and then getting the solder off. I used a heated vacuum solder gun I get off of Amazon for game console controller repairs.....made life easier. Take pictures of multiple angles before hand in case you forget which way to put the new capacitor (note the minus "-" sign on one side of each capacitor). After that, I connected everything back up and prayed it wouldn't explode and instead it was quiet until I turned on the music, then it was bass as hoped for.
If you were a girl, I would kiss you. Thank you kindly for taking the time and making the vid. By repairing the sub, I saved Mother Earth from filling a landfill with a good sub. Mend and repair!
Hello , Thanks a lot for an informative video. My PSW 125 has burnt MOSFET and I cannot read its value. Can you please share the value of these MOSFETs and the two vertically placed resistance between the second and third MOSFET. I will be highly obliged. Thanks a lot for your kind help
Would it be possible to tell me the values of all the capacitors on both boards , I will order them before I dismantle my subwoofer , thank you for the video .
Can i see the back of power board? I want to see the smd components beside of mosfet power transistor, because i having trouble to see what is the value of resistor, because it's burn
Nice try but the video kinda seems half assed. To be helpful to others u gotta show the exact ones you replaced, the values of the capacitors and the locations.
Cheap trash capacitors are all through Polk subs and speaker crossovers. It’s a shame what has become of a 1980’s icon in speaker manufacturing. There again his marketing was always better than his speakers. Just like Sandy Gross’ Definitive/Ear
PLEASE, next time remember that no one likes to look at images that are upside down. You have a potentially great video... but many won't give you a second view because of this.
Your video helping people fix a subwoofer was way better than this.....oh wait.....you have never uploaded a video before, so keep your comments to yourself. This man is helping people so who cares if something is upside down. Thanks so much for this video it helped me fix my subwoofer.

Thank you very much, you have identified the exact issue and failing components.
you have saved me a lot of time!
Thank you very much, with your good video, without shematics, I solved the same problem.
Great info...seems like it's my exact symptoms. I will try new caps...thanks
Super video and instructions. Thank you!

Hi you there! Mine has Q8 blowed! Do you know it's code? Thanks, in anticipation.
What is the value of smd resistor beside of transistor IRFB9N65A MOSFET ,thank you
What is the value of resistor beside the Main transistor??
Would it be possible to tell me the values of all the capacitors on both boards , I will order them before I dismantle my subwoofer , thank you for the video .
sorry i cant cuz this item it was a customer i dont have it anymore, just take your apart
@@SOSfixElectronics thank you mine is 300 miles away , I will have it back soon and the will have to wait for parts , thanks again .

anyone know the measurements of the coil? I need that to be able to replace it
Nice try but the video kinda seems half assed.

i will try that next time thx
@@SOSfixElectronics hey man we appreciate you, keep up the good work!
Min 2:31 to 2:51, he shows the location and then shows and says the specs of the capacitors.
I have a PSW125 that is not turning on. I mean the LED keeps off and nothing works. =(
check the power supply
@@SOSfixElectronics it's not the power supply. Seems to be something in the power board.
@@fgomides thats what i mean power supply board
@@SOSfixElectronics ahh. Sorry.
