If you are one of those who suddenly wants to read Dostoevskiy - don’t. In Russia they shove that dostoevskiy down our throats but guys trust me there’s nothing to romanticize, at least in crime & punishment for sure. It’s just dark, sad, very difficult to read and will only get you depressed

If you liked Perfect Days, I can't recommend Paterson enough. A bit more experimental, but mostly peaceful and definitely a slice of life type movie.
