Good luck!! I used the ham study app to learn from. When I was scoring over 80% on practice test. I took it. I only missed 3. Good look to you. KQ4LPW 73’s
you can use the same FRN for your ham licenses, once you take and pass the test, they will attach ur new ham license to that FRN you have already. Ypu will get an email saying ur call sign has been issued, and when it shows up in the data base ur good to get on the bands ur allowed to be on
As far as I am aware, we do not have an online option for tests here, nor do we have volunteer examiner scheme. Application for test, license and renewals are online only. 73 de Jon, VU2JO
@@HamRadioQso I am not from US. I am from India, on the other side of the globe! Some time back many in our region had taken US licenses. I do not not how that works out. Checking on QRZ, most of the licenses have expired. 73 de Jon, VU2JO
FRN. Federal registration number. When you get the number you are entered into a fcc data base. All licenses issued to you will be under your FRN. And yes they have a Canadian section on ham study. All you need is there. Not sure what the Canadian version of the FRN is. Hope that helps
EXACTLY what I needed to know!
Great info, thanks!
Thanks for the info! Appreciate it. I’m studying for my technician’s license.
