Summer Sanders was one of the most beautiful game show hosts on television back then.
“Are You Afraid of the Dark”…I was 10 years old or less when that show was on, and it was the show I looked forward to the most on S’Nick…that and “Clarissa Explains it All”. In fact, I just watched the first 2 seasons of AYAoTD leading up to this Halloween!
And also, Brandel is ADORABLE! Not that there is anybody on this channel I don’t like, but Brandel is subtly just memorable♥️

The spongbob one was the quickest one i got. Was yelling at the screen THE GANGS ALL HERE.
So nostalgic. I remember watching Ahhh! Real Monsters every night before going to bed at night because that's the only show at 11pm. Then I would remember all the days where I can watch Hey Arnold on Wednesday's and All That, Kenan & Kel Amanda Show on Weekends. I switch between Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network a lot. I don't watch much Disney Channel. 😅

There’s so much from my childhood that I’d like to go back and watch again. Like, Angry Beavers, Clarissa Explains it All, Allen Strange, Harriet the Spy, and Animorphs. Since Kenan & Kel was used, I’m assuming other SNICK shows would be on the table.
Oh my gods Are You Afraid of the Dark? was my favorite show as a kid even though I hated horror for a long time. Definitely explains why I grew up to love Supernatural and Constantine.
I immediately knew the SpongeBob one! That is such an iconic episode where SpongeBob got injured and was scared to leave the safety of his house! And that weird realistic gorilla that showed up at the end...
I can literally quote you some scenes from the episode: "This is Penny, and Chip, and say hello to Used Napkin", "And that's when I punch him, right?", "Don't you have to be stupid somewhere else?", "Not until 4".
There's also the iconic Indoors Song where I heavily relate to it when the pandemic first started.
I grew up on Nickelodeon 😍 all the nostalgia! Wild Thornberrys was my jam!

in Australia, we had a show called Amazing, it had a maze run at the end of each episode for the winning team where the prize for collecting the gold key it was a GameBoy
mate, my primary school was on that show. some very good marketing for Nintendo 64 and Gameboy.

My daughter asked how catdog poops. I was silent forever until I finally just said, I don't know. Reminds me of the legend of the meanest, most ferocious animal in the world! The crocogator. Half crocodile, half alligator. You may ask how it poops. It doesn't, and that's why it's the meanest, most ferocious animal in the world.

Whenever they said a show needed to be rebooted, my only thought was "No. Leave it be cause anything remade now gets ruined."

Y’all have been warming my heart with these Nickelodeon episodes lately 🥰 I still have a photo of my Dad and I standing next to Olmec at Nickelodeon Studios in 1993.
They were always so bad because they had not seen the show before, they are hyped up on adrenaline, pizza, soda, and the excitement of winning some shoes if they can solve a three piece puzzle

Also not shown were: Double Dare (although it may have been 80s), Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Guts, Ren and Stimpy, Adventures of Alex Mack, Wild and Crazy Kids (may have also been 80s), Clarissa Explains it All, Adventures of Pete and Pete, and one year I went as QuailMan for Halloween, so I knew that one immediately when the belt was the first prop. Yeah, I was a Nick kid growing up.
I know every single one of these shows, hahaha. Some of the shows in this particular one were already 'new' to me when I was starting to age out. I guess I was more of an 80/90s kid. Plus Nick Arcade, Rocko's Modern Life, Welcome Freshmen, Space Cases (I was weirdly obsessed with that show and then it got canceled, haha).
