Weirdly, the T2 and Aliens Kenner toys aren’t the same scale. The T2 toys are noticeably taller, so much so that the 10-year-old John Conner is taller than Hicks. But that didn’t stop me from using the Colonial Marines as resistance fighters battling 8 foot tall endoskeletons and T-101s
Toy companies didn’t care about that stuff back then. Glad you didn’t let that stop your imagination from having a good time!
Had a huge Kenner Predator and Alien Christmas too! Played with the Clan Leader til his tentacles came off haha!
Got the Queen hive and it said "Queen not included". Opened the hive up and the Queen was packed inside shoved down into the corner somehow, some way...lost my freaking mind and my Pap said Santa must've thought I was a good boy all year that he had the elves put the Queen inside.
God, what a day; thanks Santa!
Those tentacle features always wear out. One of the GI Joe Mega Marines monsters had the same type of thing.

This episode really makes me think that you need to make a whole episode of just great toys from bad movies

I talked in a comment on an older vid about the predator toy I had that glowed in the dark and how I lost the mask; It's totally the one Joe has! Super jelly you still have the mask and the spears.
This is so insane, my last kenner predator came 2 days ago and i have the whole collection sitting in front of me, and low and behold the next pegwarmers is on Preds, fck yeah. You guys need to make a toy for the show. 'The pegwarmers' line, id buy one of those for a dollar! But actually more than a dollar.
I still have spike tail and clan leader. from when I was a kid. I got clan leader at toys r us and i got spike tail at kb toys. good times.

Oh I collected the Kenner Predator and Alien figures when they first came out. It’s definitely my favorite line of toys!
We did an episode on Aliens already, time to talk about Predators.
I didn't get any kenner AVP toys as a kid. I did pick up and still have the movie maniacs predator when I was a teenager. Now I got a vintage Clan leader and Scorpion alien and a bunch of Neca Aliens and Predators.
I have that Wolfman, Frankenstein, and Mummy. Went with color, though because I already had some old b&w Universal stuff and wanted it to look different.
You can't go wrong with either look.
Really, they're not very colorful. I thought they sent the wrong thing at first but it's because the Mummy is in wraps, Talbot wears grey and so does the monster. But I'm looking forward to (hopefully) the Gillman and I definitely want that in green so I figured I'd be consistent. That and the fact that I have a 90s toy that also changes between Talbot and Wolfman and that's in b&w.
I had a poster of the Predator on my childhood bedroom door that came from some comic book. It had information blurbs for all it's weapons and special technology. Definitely had that before I ever saw the movie or really knew what it was. Great episode!

Yeah, they were the right MASK agents for the mission.
Had so many of these and the Aliens figures.
I remember the Aliens Hive Wars figures. My brother and I got them at KB for I think 3 for $10. Good times. I miss prices like those. I think I still have them.

I want some Sunman minicomics. That line needed pack in comics. In fact, ALL toys need pack in minicomics.

Great episode fellas! I still have all my Kenner Predator figures too! Man, I also remember reading somewhere (Action Figure News & Toy Review maybe?) that were going to be human figures for Dutch and Billy - I specifically remember the latter being called Big Knife Billy.

This and Aliens are great toylines that were highly underrated.

I'm not sure if they're technically considered toys, but models and miniatures are something that a lot of kids and young adults collect. Model planes, trains, spaceships, etc... And also miniatures like for D&D and Warhammer 40k. Build the model kits, applying decals, painting miniatures, etc..., take up many hours of our youth, and I think would be a great subject for an episode.
I also think an episode about favorite board games would be freaking awesome.
You may be on to some things that are in the works.
@@Pegwarmers Yeah you could buy some McFarlane artist proof 40k figures and paint them for the show.
"Gone with the Predator" was a Hollywood classic.
Came out the same years as the classic "Predator of Oz".
I had pretty much all of wave 1 of Aliens and Predators. Sold them all years ago 🥺

You guys should do an episode on the toys from the show Extreme Dinosaurs. Those toys were the coolest.
That would be a fun one. Paul the Toy Sculptor I interviewed in an episode said they were sculpted at the studio he worked at.
Would you consider doing an episode about Playmobil, Lego, or just playsets in general?
Playmobile and Lego are on the table for sure. I'm actually surprised we haven't done Lego yet.
I'd love to see an episode on centirions power extreme toys

I had a bunch of these & the Alien figures. I wish action figures still cost $10.00. Now they're $20.00 +.

I'm surprised you guys didn't show any Hiya toys predators. They are 4 inch figs, perfect for stalking your vintage G.I.JOEs.

The Lanard Predators are better than NECA in my opinion, $10 vs $35. More durable and you can easily paint them whatever you like.
They are a great value. Most people don't have the time or talent to repaint their toys.
