Got 2 of these last week and tested in the first game, I use semi dmr set up and after playing 6+games, every game I only used 1 mag. Some games I had half of the mag left, and didn't need to reload between the games. I used 2nd mag and had the other as back up. Absolutely love them.
Good review, I really appreciate you taking the time to take it apart and show us the internals. I'm curious as to see what happens for milsim events, itll be tough to regulate unless you check gear beforehand. If it does get regulated I hope they dont ban them outright but ban the carrying of more than 3-4 of them. This will be good for those who are looking for a minimal PC loadout but have the good amount of BB's
I did have some misfeeds maybe I just got a lemon or maybe it's just new and it has not yet broken in yet. I do like the mag I got and I have gotten more hopefully they are worth 30$.
I don’t like the mags too much. Feeding issues. And when a mag is full and is stored with a capacity like it has, the spring will get worn out and will not feed towards the end eventually
On the topic of milsims, I know MSW has ammo limits, IE, a rifleman can only hold I think it was 500 rounds total loaded into magazines? meaning no matter how many of these mags you took, you could realistically only fully load 2 of these magazines, and the rest would end up unloaded as those 2 mags would have your entire ammo limit stored into them. This was a conversation I had with another player who had gone to MSW for the last several years, and while impressed with the magazines, he had made mention on how you'd realistically only end up carrying 2 mags loaded on your person.
My same way of thinking carrying around 10 mags is just extra weight, not to mention the rounds per second these guys push their guns too. I actually have real firearms training cqb tactical you name it, be it in milsim or any normal game a gun shooting 50 rounds per second isn't any different then one that shoots 20 rps. Most guys have no idea how to use their rifles effectively which is why you get guys like that, as long as your getting rounds down range with effective aim and tactics you'll need significantly less mags and ammo. It's just extra weight and bs you gotta deal with, well placed fire is gonna have people taking cover. They don't gotta spray a full mag doing a j hook on a position when controlled semi fire can do the exact same thing with a quarter of the rounds but i understand why they do it people wanna have the fastest shooting gun and rely on their rifles rather then effective tactics it's why I like training off the field with experienced people former military police etc the reason they smoke everyone isn't cause their rifles you could give em rentals and they will keep up with any gbb or aeg. At a certain point upgrades become negligible without training just extra weight and money.
TL:DL Version? - Best mid caps on the market, worth every penny, will feeed pretty much any setup to the last bb without issue. For you 60RPS polarstar nuts you might want/need to upgrade the magazine loading spring
Really enjoyed the video. I deadass was about to crack one of these open also because a mid cap is a mid cap, but how did they fit all those bbs in ? You earned my sub! And if anyone is curious about airsoft tech and internals and budget builds feel free the check out the page
This is something that I have been wanting to see from the first day they release the news of these a year ago. Thanks

Thanks man, I was quite curious about how these worked...
Perfect review.

Lion claws said the mid cap size limit is 200.
Not sure if anyone said this yet, but the ares m4 clear mags have a bb count on the side and are almost exactly the same as ef mags.

A question, (im not from the US), you cant use high caps on milsims?
RoboPotato its different from event to event. Milsim is a really vague term. For the most part, milsim-ish games do not allow high caps
@@BoonieDave Thank you.

Ruin Aeg rifles due to spring too hard
I hope they dont make this legal in milsim games this is literally a hicap
I'd say put a cap of 3 mags and these are perfectly fine
