In this type of songs her voice shines. It's crazy but in her pop dance songs her voice gets lost and sometimes doesn't quite fit. Like in the Barbie song. Her voice is made for this kind of songs. I imagine what the album Radical Optimism would have been like with this sound and her powerful voice.
I'm here as a Cleo Sol stan as this is my favourite Cleo Sol song.....and Wow, I underestimated Dua as I had no idea she could sing like this (granted I'm only a casual listener of hers). This song is quite hard to sing because the verses are so low but her lower register sounded great with nice depth to it, and she sounded really good in her upper register too. The music she puts out/the songs I've heard from her definitely don't showcase her vocal range like in this performance. Maybe she should tap into more of this sound in the future, as she definitely has the voice for it. I've already replayed this several times.
