The funny thing is that the phone is not capable of recording the same quality of music as you hear it in reality at a concert. It will just jingle like a bug in a box.

I've been listening to Carl since 1994. Most of the time you get to hear good techno music on good sound systems and you get a good show. With age and distances, youtube videos are a great satisfaction.
I notice a lack of people dancing on the dance floor. Perhaps because the attendees are not all from the tech culture.

Havnt seen him play a set like he used to back in 1996-2001 like this. Old raw style teckno! Btw there use to be a rumour then that he once mixed 7 tracks at once on vinyl. If its true , i think everyone here would like to see him do it. And im sure he has that skill to to it. He should have a Big Black Cox party again. Miss those days!
It’s cool to see Carl still taking chances in his career. He could just DJ and stick to what he’s doing and be successful but he chose to take a risk try something different that he probably had to put a lot of time on putting together

i know hybrid in the early days was live music you created on site with other forms of media..cdjs or vinyl or dat or tape...usb..mostly live mix on computer and other medias idk though nowadays

The atmosphere of dance events where the lights are focused on the crowd is supposed to make the dancer feel like they are on the stage in the lime light. I wish we could get rid of the screens that make people focus on a single point at the stage.
