yes, me to, i thought the film was so different, an original film, which was open your eyes. the director from the others filmed and created that, hence tom was producer and Nicole star, they took open your eyes turned into an American version. tom cruise played a great character a rich playboy who was disfigured. it was my 20th birthday and I remember the scene Cammeron Diaz talks about him being inside and swallowing people were spitting out their soda and the whole theater was like dam all the dudes were like laughing. i was on a date I loved the film. like b4 vanilla sky that never existed in a mainstream film before. ha-ha lol.
This song reminds people of "Project Gotham Racing", "American Dad", "Vanilla Sky" but for me it reminds me of "The Girl Next Door" a very nice teenage movie with a very pretty actress Elisha Cuthbert
I got to meet her live in high school on the set of "24" with Kiefer Sutherland. I remember being surprised at how short she was, and kinda sad when I saw her chainsmoking. She was cute as hell though.
YES!!! About twenty years ago this song was used in an antidrug PSA. That was the first time I heard it, and it's been floating around in my mind ever since. The problem was that I never knew the name of the song or artist and have never been able to find the PSA on RUclips. But recently I saw a scene from Vanilla Sky that used this song, and then Google and RUclips brought me here. The mystery is finally solved!!!
noideac it is I totally remember an ad that used that song years ago, I can’t believe I’m hearing this song for the first time in a decade Time flies by 😄 Also I believe it was Xerox that did that commercial

Great tune. I don't know if anybody has noticed this is Pachelbel's Canon in D. Not diminishing the value of Mondo 77, at all. This is one of my favorites.
Pachelbel's Canon is the name commonly given to a canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel in his Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo (German: Kanon und Gigue für 3 Violinen mit Generalbaß) (PWC 37, T. 337, PC 358), sometimes referred to as Canon and Gigue in D or simply Canon in D
I heard it in Vanilla Sky for the first time and now it has a direct connection in my head:) and though I did not like the movie, the soundtrack has opened up a new world to me😅 especially the world of mark kozelek🤡
Vanilla sky introduced me this masterpiece..a song from my childhood
