This was a whole new level of mockups for me. This was easy and educational. I learned so much. I especially liked at the end when you explained about the List you can make. Game changer!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed this tutorial and found it helpful. Be sure to check out the updated version that I created last year as well: ruclips.net/video/eMKi-wX-msE/видео.html
BY FAR the best tutorial on the subject with a ton of extra beneficial info like layer comps - and it didn't take 30 minutes lol - thank you for sharing your time and knowledge

This video has everything! I found more and more questions being answered as I kept watching. Will often refer to this video to help create mockups. Thank you very much!
+ShaMe Sacirbey - thank you so much for that comment! I am really glad you found this video before you gave up on tutorial videos. Your support means a lot to us and I hope you will help us to spread the word about our channel and videos.
I've been creating mockups since MS Paint 1998 and now finally need to create realistic shit for one of my hoodie n tee businesses. This is the first video that actually explains how to do it quickly and effectively. Boookmarked straight into toolbar. BENDING THE KNEE, KISSING THE RING
+Bruno Di Corinto I would recommend adding a Levels or Curves Adjustment Layer to boost the contrast and make the shirt lighter if it is appearing grey. If the original shirt you are using is too dark you could also try to invert it before desaturating and boosting the contrast.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial. To answer your question - yes, the same process can be applied to a hoodie. If you're looking for a realistic hoodie mockup I have one that is already set up and ready to go in my Gumroad shop: bit.ly/45M5QKk
Hey Thank you so much for the tutorial! I know you may not be able to answer as this video is a little older but I wanted to ask just in case: Is there a way to possibly make the design a little brighter/colorful after its all said and done and placed on the shirt? Because it seemed to dull the colors a little bit in this vid as well as when I tried it myself. The colors of the designs I have for my business are a major factor/selling point in most of my designs and when I tried it myself the colors kind of dulled as well and I would love to get them back to the vibrant way the were if possible :). Thank you in advance!
Loved this tutorial, i subscribed and am hoping you can take it to the next level of adding a displacement template possibly above colours which will enable us from your previous tutorial too add any image and size it correctly. Maybe the displacement template could have a t-shirt outline so that you know where to position your image correctly. Fingers crossed .... keep up the great work :)
+CandyWrap Design thank you so much for your comments! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the video and subscribed. I definitely hear where you are coming from and unfortunately I wasn't able to distribute the t-shirt template as a downloadable file because I don't have the rights to the image. The original t-shirt was downloaded from my own personal stock photo subscription. The displacement map will vary depending on the shot you are using because the wrinkles and folds/creases won't always appear in the same place...but perhaps sometime in the future I will take some photos myself of a blank t-shirt so that I can make it available to subscribers. Great suggestion!
Hi Eric Thanks for your reply, I probably didn't make myself clear, apologies. I was hoping you could (show only not offer downloads) . I personally have lots of studio photos of my kids in different tshirts & colours which I am hoping to add different tshirt design too. i have been able to add the image and set it up but its a long process for each individual design. I am looking to find a solution to be able to further your tshirt video to the next level by adding a displacement map template which would be editable for any logo or design the user wishes to add. So once it was setup... it would be easy to change. As far as I am aware nobody has made a video on this full process. some just how to change colour, some just how to add images individually but none as described. Since you were 3/4 way through I was hoping you could describe the last process of a template displacement map, but i understand if this is not possible. cheers
+CandyWrap Design I believe I understand what you are asking for from your comments here. It sounds like you have been able to set up your shirt template, change color, and change the designs, but you are looking for a kind of one-size fits all displacement map that you can apply to any shirt. If this is the case you would just reuse the displacement map file created for one t-shirt, for many shirts. The only problem is that in order for it to look right you would need to make sure that the other t-shirts you are applying it to are completely flat, otherwise the folds and creases won't match up. Hopefully that makes sense? It's just that the wrinkles tend to vary from shirt to shirt, so if you use the same displacement map template on everything there will be some cases where it doesn't look right unless you are applying it to a shirt that is completely flat. The only other option would be to create a separate displacement map file for each shirt.

RUclips delivered. I thought this was going to be some really involved 3d mesh thing and it's about as easy as any other stock filter. Awesome.

Great tutorial! Is there a way to make the t shirt white after this? Solid color in white only made a dark grey t shirt for me. Thanks!
+Bruno Di Corinto I would recommend adding a Levels or Curves Adjustment Layer to boost the contrast and make the shirt lighter if it is appearing grey. If the original shirt you are using is too dark you could also try to invert it before desaturating and boosting the contrast.
