If this game had crossplay ability, then i think more people would play it.
True but it would also be plagued by sweaty pc players with a small minority cheating.

It’s up there for sure . Great game
This and Modern Warfare 2019, despite some certain issues, felt like solid products. They both felt polished (Post-launch at least) with strong art directions and settings

It’s still pretty active still play it regularly battlefield being my favorite franchise this has been my main game since launch 😊

It's still quite active on PC. Have no trouble finding at least 20 full servers. The last "real" Battlefield. BFV is where the degradation started, one example, ANY squad mate can revive and you can build ammo dumps, Medic and Support diminished.
This game might be 7 years old, but play it on ULTRA on 4K on a PC and it's like it was aimed at today's hardware. BEAUTIFUL👌

Have you found hardcore servers
This is my favorite BF ever... Mainly bc of the weapons of that particular era. But when i installed 6 months ago there were only 2 German servers in server search... So i uninstalled it after an hour

I live the guns most of all... My favorite shooter of all time is Hunt Showdown and they have some of the same era of weapons
There are tons of servers on Xbox X. Can always find full games very quickly woth operations and conquest and have a wide choice of maps or world offensives to play. Lots of people still running servers!
The best way I have found to sort is to choose conquest and operations. Then go in and choose open slots None and 1-5. This should filter out majority of the dead servers and give you ones that are still hopping

Question, is bf5 alive too or not on Xbox ?
That server glitch confused me because i had the same problem i don't know what is happening. It has conquest servers but it only shows me the frontlines servers
The trick with the server browser is you have to set the server filter to find servers with no empty slots, and 1 to 5 empty slots, and then your region, and game modes you are looking for. If you don't set the filter to show the servers with no free slots then it basically doesn't show all the full servers. On Xbox there are always a lot of full or close to full servers in the North American region.
i dont get how this game has no players i played it first time yesterday and its way better than any shooter of recent memory
On pc there a quite a few more players I'd say just as much as BF4 on Fridays and Saturdays
i'm playing bf1 almost every evening, struggling to find free slot on good PC servers.
I think there are more players on PS4 and PC. I have the game on all platforms but Xbox doesn’t seem to have half as many players

Is anyone having issues with their controller? My controller starts shooting out of no where and I can’t use my directional pad.

There are few servers , and too many tryharders that use only 1/2 guns ( obiuvsly op) and plays only this game. And then in games people don't play game squad

Battlefield 1 had really good immersion but random gun deviation was super annoying.

gun deviation made it my favorite battlefield. Had the best balance
yeah but mostly because its 5 bucks. it feels like a third or a quarter of a game and the dlc doesnt even have campaigns. i feel like they shorted us a full on ww1 game in the french treanches for those who dont pay for online play. really starting to wish COD made a ww1 game.
im tired of people saying 4-5 32 man servers is a good amount of servers or saying that means the game is populated😭 lets just face its guys every battlefield is dead and there is no changing that.

When I was in school my friends made a clan using “about 36” then their nationality/race .. so one was “About 36 Asians” , one was “About 36 Russians” and I’m half Greek so I used that . It’s so it says about 36 _____ killed you , we thought it was cool when younger and I kept it 😅

Yeah doesn’t seem to be anything for those modes .. a lot of Frontlines and then some TDM and Conquest
@@About36Greeks yeah,and a lot of times it's the same maps, 70% of operations are forest or Amien, and in conquest, you might be able to get an Apocalypse map once every 6 days
But overall,still a great game
